Justin has influenced Violet a lot. Not so much in a good way either. He's some how manipulated her into going to another one of his raging house parties, despite what happened last time. He said he wanted to introduce her to his friends as his girlfriend. She told him about twenty times that she didn't want to go to the party, but in the midst of her waving her hands around his face, he grabbed them and sternly said, "We're going."

So that's how she ended up in heels with a red, plastic cup in her hand. It was cheap beer that she would probably never drink again if her life depended on it, so she left it on one of the counters and watched as some drunk dude slammed the whole thing in one gulp. She furrowed her eyebrows, watching as he slammed several more cups, when Justin interrupted her.

"Hey, come with me real quick," he said, gently dragging her behind him.

"Where?" She asked, tugging on his arm.

"Basement," he responded. She could barely hear him as they neared the door because of how loud the music was down there. "Do you need another drink?" He asked, as they made it down the stairs.

"No, that beer is gross."

Chuckling, he left Violet to go talk to some guy with a scruffy beard. Looking around, she noticed picture frames on the wooden table next to her. One of the faces she recognized as Justin, but the one next to him she assumed it was the guy Justin just went to go talk to. Then she came across a picture that looked like it was straight out of a French Montana music video. Justin and his friends, who looked like teenagers at the time, all wore bandanas around their necks and held up ridiculous gang signs. She rolled her eyes.

"Seriously?" A voice said behind her. "You're just gonna let her look at those?" She stood up straight and turned around, only to be greeted with Justin and his friend. Smiling, he brought her in for an unexpected hug and Justin nodded, grinning.

"She's gotta soft spot for little Justin," he chuckled. "Both of them." She reached out to slap his arm for the dirty joke, but he stopped her, as usual. "This is Tyler. He's a close friend."

"Nice to meet you Tyler," She smiled.

"Violet, right? Justin has talked nonstop about you, but now I see why he's all fussy about you. You're gorgeous," Tyler laughed, patting Justin's shoulder.

"Exactly, so hands off," Justin teased. "This is Dana's older brother."

"Oh? Wow, I can totally see it now," She grinned. "Where is she right now? I'd love to see her."

"She's at a friend's house, but she'll be home tomorrow," Tyler reassured.

She nodded and Justin brought her over to Tyler's parents, who he also thought were his second set of parents. She got lost with them on the topic of Justin getting stranded in the middle of nowhere without any gas.

And Justin managed to slip away and talk with Tyler. "Don't mention Hailey around Violet. She doesn't know about her and I'd hate for her to find out right now."

"Dude, Hailey's here at the party. I didn't know you were suddenly gonna start introducing your hot, new girlfriend to everyone," Tyler defended, throwing up his arms in disbelief.

Justin pointed a stern finger at him. "Watch it," he growled. "God damn it, Ty," he sighed, running his hands frustratedly through his hair.

"Did you . . . fuck Hailey while you two were together?"

"No! Of course not! But I don't need Violet to know that we fucked at all. Hailey's a friend and you know that. We just have a complicated relationship and-"
