(Y/n)'s Point Of View
"Wake up." Somebody said, nudging while my arm gently. My eyes flickered open, not used to such a sudden awakening. Why was there someone in my house? By the time my vision cleared, I realised that I was not in my home but rather still in Lord Sukuna's temple. I was still sat on the floor, with my inking utensils infront of me. With a small yawn, I looked up to see Uraume staring down at me with an unimpressed look.
"Stand. Lord Sukuna has commanded that you be punished again." Uraume sighed, seeming tired of my continuous disobedience. I nodded in reply, quickly pushing all my utensils to the side so that I wouldn't knock anything over or step on anything as I stood up.
"Do you listen to anything that I tell you concerning the rules you must follow?" Uraume asked rhetorically, shaking her head with disappointment.
"I'm sorry, Ma'am." I apologised softly, making Uraume sigh lightly.
"Stand up. I have things to attend to this morning after your punishment. It be best that we hurry this up." Uraume told me, motioning for me to speed up. I nodded and stood to my feet with another yawn, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. When I looked down, I realised that the ink jar I'd been using dried up over night while being exposed to so much air.
"The ink dried." I whispered, "I'll have to purchase some more at the market later." Uraume looked at me with an incredulous look, her brows furrowed.
"I cannot tell if you genuinely do not fear for yourself or if it is simply just because of those cuffs." Uraume told me, her eyes lowering down to the pieces of metal around my wrist as we bag walking down the halls. I hummed in acknowledgement, understanding what she meant.
"I've been wearing these for three years now. So I myself do not know the answer to that question." I admitted, "These cuff only block the reach of my emotions whilst forcing me to hide my facial expressions. But they do not take away my ability to make decisions or my impulsive behaviour. My personality is not changed, only supressed."
"So, I suppose that is why I continue to disturb Lord Sukuna. I am naturally a curious person with a need for adventure. I wonder about him and act out accordingly." I explained, somehow making Uraume more disappointed than she was a few minutes ago.
"You need to burn that wonder into ash. If you continue to mess this up, Lord Sukuna will find away around our pact in order to kill you. He's been trying his best until now, but you are not making it particularly easy." Uraume replied as we entered the bathing room- or the punishment room as most knew it as now.
"Now remove your clothing." Uraume ordered, motioning towards the steaming hot water. I done as she told me and repeated my actions yesterday, slipping into the boiling hot baths. The heat seared into my already raw flesh, and yet there was no indication on my face that it ever hurt at all.
"Today's punishment is only three minutes. When you are done, you are to put on the gel and get back to work." Uraume told me. I nodded and said,
"Yes, Uraume."
