3rd Point Of View

Sukuna has never paid attention to any of his servants before. He had Uraume specifically make them all wear black so that they'd blend right in with the floor as he walked past them. Every servant had their own job to do and when they were all hired they were told that there was a specific way that they should do their jobs- without disturbing Lord Sukuna.

They are told to keep their eyes trained on the floor as he walks past, and to stand completely still. They are told to never speak a word to Lord Sukuna unless he signals that he wants a reply- which he never does. They are told that if they break any rule or do anything Sukuna does not like, they will be punished. A punishment for annoying Lord Sukuna is three minutes half-submerged in scalding water. The temperature is hot enough to leave their skin painful for days- but not enough to make their skin bubble. Sukuna does not want to see blistered hands as he is served his breakfast. That would ruin his appetite.

Now, many people have gotten used to their life as a servant of Sukuna. They know how to avoid his wrath- by avoiding him alltogether and being good at their jobs. Luckily, Lord Sukuna has stopped killing his servant due to a 'promise' he made to Uraume, so even if they slacked, they did not have to worry about being killed by Lord Sukuna. But everyone in the place did indeed fear Sukuna. They knew what he was capable of. In fact, there was only two common feelings a servant could feel for Sukuna. Fear. And Lust.

But (Y/n)? She did not fear Sukuna, nor did she lust after him. She admired him. After all, if her mother was so infatuation with the man- so taken with him and how he went about his day, then there must be something great about him. (Y/n) joined the temple staff in replacement of her mother, being one of the only few people in Japan that could fill her shoes- one of the only few people that could translate Chinese characters. Lord Sukuna found that skill valuable considering a lot of his jujutsu scrolls were stolen from China.

When (Y/n) first started, she was taught the rules just like everyone else. But she could never seem to follow them. She took punishment after punishment and still never learned from her mistakes. She was too curious. Curious about Sukuna. Curious about his life, and curious about everything that she shouldn't be. It was ironic that she could be so curious while hiding a secret of her own.

Unlike most secrets, she hid hers for the protection of others. That is why when someone asks her about the cuffs around her wrists, she tells them that it is her odd fashion choice. It wasn't. Only Uraume knew it wasn't because (Y/n)'s mother already told Uraume the reason behind those cuffs long ago. Uraume did not tell Sukuna this secret because she assumed her lord wouldn't find any use with this information- or any care. But he did.

When he found out, he became curious about (Y/n) in the same way she was curious about him. He removed the cuffs with no care about the world around him that his desicion would affect. He freed her from her shackles and yet as time went on he wondered whether she was truly free at all. He had spent time with her- making valid excuses that would explain why he'd need to see that one specific servant.

But the more and more he saw her, serving him and attending to his every whim, he began realising the she simply did not belong. She didn't belong beneath him, at his feet, cleaning the carpets. She did not suit black robes that blended with the ground he walked on. She needed to wear something colourful- to stand out. Red. Sukuna likes red. She shouldn't be polishing his throne, she should be sitting on her own, boredly tracing her fingers along the arm rests. She shouldn't be his servant. She should be his queen.

But she needed to show him...to show Sukuna that she was everything that he never knew he needed.

(A.N ~ I hope you like it!)
