Chapter 28

They soon all appear back inside of the room, Wei Ying sigh as he drop down to the floor. "Didi, what happen?" Instead of Wei Ying explain to San Lang what happen, it was the three children instead.

"Sect leader Jiang try to take A-Ling away?" The three children nodded their head. "This suppose to be a family outing for all of us. We end up getting attack by the Ouyang clan and the Jiang clan. But...." San Lang look at his son Zizhen, Jin Ling and Wen Yuan, "I want the boys to see the world, instead of living in the spiritual realm for the rest of their life."

"I know what you mean Ge. I think we are good now. The Ouyang clan is been punished, Jiang Wanyin won't come after Jin Ling anymore." Wei Ying look over at the bed, "I'm still worry about A-Qing though, she is pregnant after all."

"We can call back the driver, this way A-Qing doesn't have to walk."

"Papa, we will go get dinner. We all have a long day today," San Lang nodded his head. The three Junior went to get dinner for everyone. "Do you still think the children want to continue the journey?" Wei Ying asked as he lean his head on Lan Zhan shoulder.

"We can ask them about it," Wei Ying nodded his head.

About a minute later the junior came back with dinner, "A-Yuan, go give the porridge for A-Qing. She need to eat and so does her baby," Wen Yuan did just that.

"Didi, why aren't you eating?" Zizhen asked Jin Ling, everyone turn their attention to Jin Ling who is poking at his food. "I'm scare," Jin Ling look up with tears running down his eye.

"Scare about what?" Wen Yuan asked. "Scare, that Sect leader Jiang won't give up until he take me back with him."

"A-Ling, he won't," Jin Ling looked at his Wei Shushu, "he won't?" Jin Ling asked while drying his tears. "Remember, we are only here on a journey or travel around the world. Once we are done, we will head back to the spiritual realm. Jiang Wanyin won't be able to find you, he won't be able to come get you."

"Xian Shushu is right, A-Ling, we don't live here in the mortal realm," Zizhen patted Jin Ling head. "No need to worry beside, Papa, can we continue our journey before we head home?" Zizhen asked as he turn around to look at San Lang.

"Let's wait until your papa Xie and Xiao Shushu feel better okay?" San Lang and Song Lan look down at their partner, 'if the Ouyang didn't attack us, then we can still continue our journey.'

About two week later both Xie Lian and Xiao Xingchen injury have healed. They are able to spend the day in Tanzhou town. When the day turn to night time, they left the inn to walk around the festival.

"A-Qing, if anything happen just tell us okay?" Qing smile as she nodded her head. "Is every town like this?" The junior walk in front while the adult walk behind them, "we can try and see if all of the town is different or the same."

"Let's do that."

The next day, San Lang call back their driver since they don't want to walk. Qing is pregnant after all, they need to look after her as much as they can. "Where will we go next, papa Xie?" Zizhen asked.

"We can travel to another town that isn't in this cultivation world?" This somehow got Wei Ying curious, "Another town? How so?"

"Oh, we forgot to tell you. When gege and I write a symbol on the door, this doorway will take us another town."

Zizhen, Jin Ling and Wen Yuan eye lite up, "can we go there?!"

"Of course. When we find an inn first." Xie Lian patted Zizhen head. Once they arrive to the next town, they went to find an inn to stay in.

"Alright is everyone ready?" Xie Lian ask everyone around him, "yeah!" Xie Lian draw a symbol on the door, San Lang couldn't help but smile at this, 'it has been so long since I seen Gege draw a symbol on the door.'

When he is done, he turn around to look at his family, "before we enter," Xie Lian look at the three boys, "Zizhen, Jin Ling, A-Yuan, you three stay close. This place is very big and I don't want to lose you three okay?"

"OKay!"

"Then let's go!" As Xie Lian open up the doorway, as they walk through the doorway, as the light die down, everyone have on a big smile. "Everyone, welcome to Xianle, my hometown."

"Wow!" The place is full of people in different clothes. "This place is big!"

"This place is gege home, well his once hometown. He was a crown prince of this place," this got everyone to look at Xie Lian, "Crown prince?" Zizhen asked.

"A lot has happen back then, Zizhen, don't ask your papa about it okay?" Zizhen keep on looking at Xie Lian, he can see the sad and hurt expression on his papa face. "Okay. Papa Xie, can you show us around?"

"Okay," as they walk out of the inn, their clothes change, everyone is surprise that Xie Lian have change their clothes. "Cool!"

"Alright, let's go boys," as they continue to walk out of the inn, the boys couldn't help but look here and there around Xianle town. "This place is so rich. Everyone is wearing nice clothes. But a little bit crowded though."

"Why don't I take us to a place to eat? Try a different food for you boys."

"Okay!"

"This is something we can't do, Lan Zhan," all Lan Zhan can do is nodded his head.

They walk around the town looking at different thing around them, "Wow! All of these are so expensive. Pretty but expensive. How can people here afford them?" Asked Jin Ling as the walk from vendor to vendor.

"People work, A-Ling. Work to keep them going, work to feed their family. As for you boys, you don't have too," the three looked at Xie Lian, "Papa?" Xie Lian patted Zizhen head.

"You three are teenagers now, you still have a long way ahead of you. For now, you should enjoy your life the way it is. No need for you to grow up too fast, we will always protect you as long as we are still alive."

"We understand papa."
