"Ammi maine khud apni ankhoun se dekha hai," maham yelled in frustration.

"Dekha to maine bhi tha," Rabail replied deep in thought.

"Ammi mujhse bardash nahi ho raha ye log ki ek dusre ke liye pyar mohabbat," Maham replied with hatred laced in her voice. She was the one who witnessed Ayzal coming out of Jahanzaib's room.

"Bardash to mujh se bhi nahi hoti inki ye chashni wali Mohabbat. Lekin gharz ki baat hai warna mera bas chale to kab ka rawana hojaun yaha se" Rabail replied with the same hatred.

"Ammi mai bata rahi hoon mai kuch kar baithungi," Maham yelled, gripping her hair in frustration.

"Aye, ladki. Apni awaz oonchi karne ki zarurat nahi hai. Apne gusse par khaabu pao aur sabr rakho. Aage kya karna hai ye mai bohot ache se janti hu" Rabail replied with a smirk. Something is going on in her khurafati dimagh.

"Kya karengi aap," maham asked.

"Kuch aisa ke baig haveli ki raatein haram hojayein," Rabail replied, smirking.

Jahanzaib entered Daddo's room and found elders there. He said his salam and sat on a single-seater couch. He sensed the seriousness in the room, and the look on their faces said that the topic was very serious.

"Daddo apne bulwaya," Jahanzaib initiated.

"Haan bhai wo humza aur shumaila ke nikkah ke liye tumse mashwara lena tha," daddo replied with a smile.

One thing about elders is they include jahanzaib in every matter to know his opinion. Being the eldest and more mature than anyone in the family, everyone respects his decision.

"Itna hi kahunga ke jodi bohot achi hai aur isse behtar aur kya hosakta hai ke wo dono khud nikkah jaise paak rishte ki niyyat rakhte hai. Mera yehi mashwara hai ke jald az jald munasib waqt aur din dekh kar unka nikkah padwa dete hai " jahanzaib replied expressing his view and concern.
Everyone nodded and agreed with him.

"Aur tumhara?" Daddo asked him.

"Mera kya?" He asked with knitted eyebrows.

"Ayzal iss rishte se khush hai?" It was now Zafar who asked the question.

He smiled at his question. He remembered how she came to him and expressed her feelings towards him and how she felt about their nikkah. A smile crept on his smile just thinking about her. Elders smiled at him.

"Wo khush hai. Mujhse aur hamare iss nikkah se.... mai to bekar me hi khauf me rehta tha ke kahi wo mujh se talaq na maangle lekin khuda ki mujh par ye inayat dekhein....wo tahe dil se iss rishte ko qubool karti hai." Jahanzaib replied smile not leaving his lips.

If said they were shocked, It would be an understatement. Jahanzaib was never the one who expressed his feelings. He always has this stoic face void of any expression.

"Hayyee haala ye mera beta majnu kab se hogaya" Zafar said with horror to ease up the situation.
Everyone laughed at his remark.

"Ji pehle to nahi tha lekin meri bachi ka jadu chal hi jata hai sab par" Haala replied with a teasing glint in her eyes making Jahanzaib's ears tint red.

*ahem ahem bhai sharmate bhi hai*.

"To karwadein ruqsati tumhari," Daddo asked him in a serious tone.
