The beeping of computers was an unbearable sound to Delilah..

But there was nothing she could do about it..she was just the employee after all

"DELILAH!"

"GAH! ...What?!", the girl sneered at her co-worker, who had been trying to get her attention for the past 30 seconds

"What was wrong with you? You were so...zoned out..and RELAX", the co-worker, Cassie, said, looking at Delilah with a bit of confusion

Cassie took a sip of her drink that was at her desk and leaned back in her chair

"Anyways..the higher ups or whatever have another job for you", Cassie told Delilah, looking at her phone as disbelief washed over Delilah's face

"WHAT?!", Delilah shouted, causing a wave of people shushing her to cross over the room

She just sighed and plopped back down in her seat

"This shit is so stupid...I mean they're literally just going after a bunch of puppets, what's the big deal about them anyways", Delilah rolled her eyes as she looked to the giant computer screens, which displayed the graphs and status of the other world the company was currently tracking

Cassie put her phone down and sighed, before looking at Delilah

"Listen, all I know is that THEY want to know how to gain access to other worlds like those..stupid stuffed pieces of fabric did..but you shouldn't complain! This job pays well", Cassie shot a sickingly fake smile at Delilah before continuing

"Anywaysss, the higher ups want you to like, befriend that Y/N person who has the puppets or whatever", Cassie said as Delilah just rolled her eyes

"Yeah, no. Did you not hear that they got attacked by a bunch of psycho killers? I'm here to steal some dolls, not get brutally murdered", Delilah crossed her arms and it went silent between her and Cassie for a moment

"They'll pay you 80k if you ca-"
"Where do I start?"

"Huh?"

Cassie chuckled a bit before pulling up an image of your new apartment building
