Clawdeen sat on her bed, Draculaura was out with her friends, and Clawdeen being only 6 at the time was sad because she hated being alone. she sighed and laid down, but immediately sat back up when she saw Draculaura enter the room. Draculaura sat next to Clawdeen.
Clawdeen: did they come back with you?
Draculaura: no, they have to get ready with their families for thanksgiving
Clawdeen: thanksgiving?
Draculaura: yeah, remember last year? oh, you were sick, and I don't see you being able to remember, you were too young. thanksgiving... It is like a party, your family gets together, there's food and you say what you are thankful for. for me personally I'm thankful for being able to grow up in this monster world. what about you sis, what are you thankful for?
Clawdeen smiled

Draculaura looked surprised
Draculaura: w-what did you say Clawdeen?
Clawdeen: I'm thankful for you. I-I didn't know what to be thankful for, but you and daddy made me feel loved and wanted, your my big sister, you protect me from the world. you are my best friend, my family, the best family in the world. *tears up* th-thank you big sister, thank you for being there for me, for loving me
Clawdeen hugs Draculaura and starts crying a bit, Draculaura was shocked and hugged back a bit tighter
Draculaura: Clawdeen... I... I can't say I was expecting to hear you say that... I'm honered though. It's like what dad says, families stick together through thick and thin. you know, I completely forgot to say who I'm thankful for, I'm thankful for you too, you're the best little sister ever. Cleo, Deuce and Heath are my only real friends, The other kids wanted to be my friend cause I had a lot of money and because I was Dracula's daughter. in a weird way, you understand me, it might be cause we're different, but you know what I'm going through
Clawdeen: I... I just want to be able to help you, is all... *sniffle*
Draculaura: you have Clawdeen. more than you think, I can always rely on you to help me through tough times. I'm sure if mom was still here, she would have said the same thing
Draculaura wiped the tears on Clawdeen's face
Draculaura: I'm so lucky to call you my family. I'll make sure you have the best Thanksgiving ever!
