Luca's POV

It wasn't actually that hard to get the girl to come with me. Yes, it took long,  but I made it.

I was happy that she was slowly beginning to trust me.

I actually went to the warehouse but my mind couldn't concentrate because my thoughts always switched to Leah.

So I decided I might as well just go to the woman that consumes my mind.

It wasn't hard to find her, I just asked one of my informants.

Leah is too important to me, and that's the exact problem. My enemies might sense that and I can't let them hurt Leah.

Not in my lifetime and not even over my dead body.

She should never be hurt.

I got some of my men to follow her every breath out of my estate. Anywhere out of it was unsafe. Especially with the hidden mole, which now seems to be more than one.

I can't take chances.

I hated the fact she doesn't even know her every move is being watched, but it's for her safety.

I stole a few glances at her in the car.

To, me she is the epitome of Perfect. But maybe too perfect for me, for my life.

I ended up looking at the road ahead knowing that Leah was off-limits for me.

The drive was silent, the hum of the car was all you could hear.

Leah just looked out the window, she occasionally asked if the girl was okay.

We arrived at the school. 2:03 pm. Hmm, not as bad as I thought.

Many kids were out already.

We got out of the car, "Mammy!" the kids came running to Leah.

To be honest I didn't mind that they loved her so much. Who wouldn't?

She kneeled to them, "I'm so happy to see all of you" She hugged them again.

"Don't forget to say hi to your father" she said then looked at me.

Bella hugged my leg "Sorry fwor abwandoning you Daddy" She smiled up at me showing her teeth.

The hug was followed by Andrea and Gabriel.

To be honest I'm not used to hugs. Actually, receiving any type of physical affection from other people barely happened whilst growing up, especially after my mother and sister died.

"How was school?" I asked as they let go.

"Fine" Andrea shrugged, "Cool" Gabriel added. "It was soo FUN!" Bella squealed which earned a laugh from everyone.

"Let's get home shall we," Leah said.

They all nodded.

Gabriel was happy the girl could come, the girls (Andrea and Bella) didn't look too happy about how much attention Gabriel gave to the girl.

Leah opened the door and they all hopped in.

"You should attend hugging lessons Mr. Romano" Leah whispered to me before walking past me.

I promise if she does that to me again...I won't contain myself.

I just looked at her as she jumped into the car too.

I rolled my eyes, went around the car and got in as well.

I started driving.

"So how was school?" Leah asked turning her head to the kids in the back seats.
