a young vampire was walking in the woods, she liked playing in the woods, and liked watching humans, but there was a rare chance that she would see one at night time. this vampire was Draculaura who was only 100 years old. right now she had just left the woods, she turned into a bat and began flying around, but since she was still learning how to turn to a bat, she quickly turned back into a vampire and fell to the ground
Draculaura: Oof! Ow...
just then she heard loud crying, she looked around confused, she put a hand to her eye
Draculaura: I'm not crying, who's there?
she looked around and saw a basket on a rock that was moving. she gulped and slowly walked toward it and saw a blanket inside of it. it started moving with more crying, Draculaura pulled the blanket off and saw...
Draculaura: A Baby?! What Are You Doing Here?
the baby immediately stopped crying when she saw Draculaura. she then started giggling and tried to touch her. Draculaura backed away scared. what could she do? someone left their baby alone!
Draculaura: oh my fang! what do I Do?!
she then saw a note in the basket and grabbed it. she opened it and read it
Draculaura: " dear monster or human, our dear Clawdeen is special, she's half human half werewolf. we cannot take care of her, please raise her for now, we promise to explain everything later". Clawdeen? that's a pretty name!
she looked back at the infant who touched Draculaura's hand, the vampire laughed as she began playing with the baby
Draculaura: I cannot leave you here
Draculaura looked at the houses then the woods. she thought for a second before picking the baby up and holding her
Draculaura: want to come home with me?
the baby just giggled and pulled on the vampire's hair
Draculaura: *laugh* alright, you are coming home with me! come on little one
Draculaura placed the baby back into the basket and walked back into the woods while carrying it. soon she returned home where her father was waiting
Dracula: welcome home my putrid prince- what is that?
Draculaura: I found a baby
Dracula: What?! A Human?!
Draculaura shook her head no
Draculaura: this Letter! it says she's half werewolf
Dracula took the note and read through it and sighed
Dracula: what kind of parents could abandon a child like that?
Draculaura: daddy?
Dracula: yes princess?
Draculaura: can we.. can I keep it?
Dracula: I don't know, she's not like us
Draculaura: Please Daddy! I really like her!
Dracula: I know but a baby? I can barely handle you and since your mother and me got that divorce, I don't know honey
Draculaura had tears in her eyes as if she was gonna throw a tantrum
Draculaura: DADDY PLEASE!
her yell causes Clawdeen to jolt awake and start crying. Draculaura immediately picked her up and began calming her, Dracula watched surprised
Draculaura: shh,shh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, shh
soon she stopped crying and nuzzled the vampire. just then the moon shined on her and turned her into a werewolf. Dracula saw that and immediately thought
*Selena... why?*
Dracula wiped a tear away and walked over to the two and said
Dracula: this baby will need a big sister to keep her out of trouble
Draculaura: *gasp* REALLYY?!
Dracula: yes, we can keep her
Draculaura hugged her father with one arm while holding Clawdeen in the other
Draculaura: THANK YOU! I'LL BE THE BEST BIG SISTER EVER!
Dracula: I know you will
Dracula took Clawdeen from Draculaura and the three went inside, there Dracula placed Clawdeen into Draculaura's old crib and the two sat on the couch
Draculaura: hey daddy, why is she so small?
Dracula: don't worry babies get bigger, you were once this small, and until then, you will be her new big sister, you will be her protector
Draculaura: I Know! I Will Protect Her From Anything Bad! I'll Share My Toys With Her And Do Everything With Her!
Dracula: I know, you have a big heart.
