The Hardpoint game took place in Camp Tatanka's remodelled pioneer village. The teachers handed devices keeping track of our score, explaining that we couldn't go inside any of the buildings.

"Anything goes in this game and whoever has the highest points wins." Mr Cranston blew his whistle. "The game starts now!"

The devices beeped, "Delta."

Kevin and the other heavy hitters formed an arrow and led the charge to Delta while the rest of us hid behind them.

"These guys have trained and done their homework," Adrian said. "I have a feeling that they have a trump card for Capture the Flag. We're allowed to get physical in this game, so use the chaos to injure their best players."

Petra scratched her head. "We're pulling a Karate Kid? Wouldn't that make us the vil—"

"If they want to play dirty, so will we."

When we arrived at the Hardpoint, we found ourselves claiming it with ease. The sixth graders didn't bother fighting for it. Instead, they were relaxed, resting on the porch of one of the buildings.
