Hello! Sorry I've been inactive, I usually just pop up outta nowhere now LMAOO
Updates will come pretty randomly (to those who care) but I'm not dead! School and personal stuff has been quite the burden when it comes to writing, so I apologize! This chapter isn't the best, but I wanted to get something out before I start working on other things.

Mind y'all that this had been sitting in my drafts for 4 weeks (like a lot of my other drafts lmao) so I decided to finally finish it ig

So take this before I start working on other things?

Times period is a few months after season 4?? I guess??

Wukong and Macackle still want each others heads on sticks but can tolerate being in the same room. Also Macaques allowed on flower fruit mountain with too many restrictions because Wukong doesn't want him nuking the place? (Idc if you'd call this a shadow peach oneshot it's just the two of them it can be platonic or romantic)

If this chapter is poorly edited then I apologize??

I think that's all I have to say

Wukong kicked his feet off the side of his bed out of sheer boredom. He sighed and turned his head to the side, staring out the window next to him.

'There's literally nothing to do. Mk has training tomorrow so I don't want to go over and bother him. I already did that. And I don't think his friends like me very much, so I don't want to go over there and just go "Heyy! What's up guys?" Or something like that. That would be awkward. And I don't really have anything else to do with my day other than babysit the kids on this mountain. Why is my life so hard.'

The king exhaled slowly and continued staring at the sky through the glass. The clouds were dark and moody, signaling a storm. Wukong seemed to brighten at this, as he loved the wind and rain.

Thunder rang through the sky and the hero sat up, his ears twitching at the sound.

'I want to go outside..'

So he did.

Wukong jumped off the side of his mattress and skipped out of his door, into the hallways. He walked through his small cabin and eventually found himself outside under the dark sky.

"I can't even remember the last time it rained. Huh- Wasn't it like.... Like... ahh.... Tough! Can't remember." Wukong chuckled to himself as his eyes shined brightly. The clouds gradually became darker as thunder once again boomed in the sky.

Wukong inhaled the scent of rain as he felt a raindrop on his nose. Rain began to fall slowly and the wind began to pick up. To the Monkie King, this was the definition of the perfect weather.

'Maybe a walk through the forest is what I need.'

So, barefoot and now drenched with water, Sun Wukong strolled through the woods of Flower Fruit Mountain. His nose twitched at the smell of rain and he smiled. Walks in the rain were possibly his favorite thing next to fireworks. He adored them.

Wukong loved the smell, the puddles, the mud, the water, the wet earth, he loved it all. Fireworks were still number one on his list, though. But rain was pretty good too.

A few minutes into his walk, Wukong's ears twitched at a sound of an.. An animal? Possibly a baby monkey? Was it... What was that sound..

Was it crying? He couldn't tell.
