How you meet for the first time and their first thought of you

Hunger Games:
Katniss Everdeen-
You were childhood friends and knew each other since you met in your first year of school. After meeting for the first time, you grew close and stay close throughout the years and were best friends, even your families grew close because of your friendship. You stuck without each other through thick and thin, when her dad died and she had to start hunting, whenever someone in your families got sick, anything you would always go to each other. Her first thought of you was probably some gibberish as you were still children.

Peeta Mellark-
You met him when your parents asked you to get bread from his bakery but you didn't grow that close until you both got reaped (or until he survived the games it depends whether you get reaped or not). When you met in the bakery it is also when he started crushing on you and began noticing you in school, even if you only said 'hello' to each other when you pass in the hallways. His first thought of you if this is how you met would be;
'A new customer, I should probably help them before someone gets mad at me for not. Oh wow, they are so pretty / handsome, how haven't I noticed them before this?'

Finnick Odair-
You never had the chance to meet Finnick until he became your mentor when you were reaped for your games (if you didn't get reaped then you met because you had summer jobs together as teenagers). It wasn't the best conditions to meet under, you both knew, so he became your source of comfort in this time and he vowed to do anything to protect you and save you from the death you thought was imminent. He made sure you knew this too by constantly telling you he was going to try and get you out of this alive. I imagine his first thought of you would be;
'Y/N L/N? Never heard of them before. But oh they look devastated in the crowd, their family do too. This is going to be a hard one to let go, I can tell already. I have to try my hardest.'

Johanna Mason-
You met Johanna when you were both reaped for the Quarter Quell. Whether it was because you were too scared to approach her before or because you simply lived in a different district you had never spoken to her before you were transported to the Capitol in preparation for the Quarter Quell. You were both attracted to each other after your first interaction, you liked her ferocity and determination while she was attracted to your strategic mind and your respectfulness. Her first thought of you would probably be;
'Oh my god that interaction was so wholesome. How am I supposed to murder that person in the arena? I should try and get them to join the alliance.'

Divergent:
Beatrice Prior-
You were both neighbours when you both lived in abnegation and knew each other since you can remember. At first you were on friendly terms, but weren't that close until you joined dauntless together and became the only person each other knew from home as well as only trusting each other. Her first thought about you would probably be something about wanting to be your friend but she doesn't remember because she has known you ever since she can remember.

Four / Tobias Eaton-
You first met Four when you jumped into the Dauntless centre however you didn't start talking and becoming friends until you sat next to him in the dauntless canteen. At first he acted more as a mentor and your boss, he was trying to not get attached to anyone in case they didn't make the cut, but once you began talking in a less professional setting he couldn't help but talk more like a friend then a higher up. His first thought of you was probably;
'Next jumper! Oh wow they don't look like they're dauntless born.. they are so cute though. NOPE. DON'T THINK ABOUT THAT. YOU CAN'T GET ATTACHED.'

Peter-
You first acknowledged him when you had to fight him during training, you hadn't bothered to get to know him beforehand. However, when you immediately proved yourself better than him (he would never admit your that good though) he began admiring you and tried to become your friend in the canteen later that day. I imagine his first thought of you being:
'Y/N? Who's that? Oh them. They don't look like they'll be too hard to defeat so I'll go easy on them. The look on their face though.. they are so confident despite the fact they'll lose? Oh well bad for them.'
