sooo i was listening to maise peters new album yesterday on repeat yesterday and i was inspired to write this! like that album freed me from songwriters block, so thank you masie! thanks to gracie abrams too bc good riddance is a blessing to my ears.
anyways, i LOVE the cinderella tale... i think everyone knows that by now lol, so i kind of just wrote from that fairytale like perspective.
this song is about fantasizing about an ideal lover but it's really just a dream that's unattainable, but hey, maybe they exist, or at least that's what you believe. i'm an optimist and there's nothing wrong with hoping! for now it's just me, my songwriting and cinderella phase but you know never know, i have hope :D
