Point is I'm a versatile songwriter. I can write about past experiences and make it sound so new and fresh, like I just went through it. It's Pride month rn, not Valentine's lmao.

my family had to go somewhere- attend urgent business, so there I was- secret jokes, no one's home, 16 and wild. I spent the day having a Harry Styles music video marathon, baking cookies whilst bopping out to the Midnights album by Taylor Swift. Then once the cookies were ready I took advantage that I had the TV to myself and watched HMTMTS and thinking how fine Ricky Bowen aka Joshua Bassett is 😍

Bridge withheld refs to my fav Gracie Abrams song 'Mess It Up' 💗 and song titles to The Weeknd's 'Out Of Time' and Taylor Swift's 'Begin Again'. Something I like to do sometimes in my songs is ref other songs- especially if they apply to the situation the song is about. Pretty sure Joshua Bassett has done the same with Bruno Mars 'Talking To The Moon' in his song 'i'm sorry'. I mean, it's not confirmed but...
