This basically serves as the prequel to 'Solar System' I guess, since the space theme is present here and so is the fallout theme as well. This was wayyyy before Solar System though and honestly Solar System isn't just about ONE person in particular, it's about MANY. This song, Alternate Universe, revolves around the space theme but also contains other ref's as well.

This song is about how growing pains and how getting older and everything changing can lead to fallout. You used to know this person real well, you used to be close, but now it's different and you've become strangers- and they're hurting, but there's nothing you can do about it cause people can go from people you know to people you don't. But you really wish that you could do something, anything! The friendship you once had with this person once meant everything and now it's crumbled down into nothing.
