Yuu's face has been gloomy as Ayato continued to suck him blood every time he finished eating pancakes.
It made Yuu wonder if Ayato really saw him as nothing more than a tasty dessert.
The irritation built up within him until he wasn't even sure what he was really angry at anymore.
Nonetheless, the fact that Ayato only took a small amount of his blood makes Yuu feels a sense of powerlessness in him which prevent him from confronting Ayato and causing trouble.
Seeking some solace, Yuu decided to take a soothing bath.
Afterward, he rested on the luxuriously fluffy bed that he had come to appreciate since moving into the Sakamaki Mansion.
As he lay there, he couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh. "This bed is the nicest thing I've had since I arrived here", he muttered to himself.
Lost in his thoughts, Yuu's gaze wandered out of the window.
The sky had become cloudy mirroring his inner turmoil, "Vampires...huh ", he murmured pondering the nature of these bloodthirsty creatures.
Just then a familiar voice interrupted his thoughts.
Laito's smiley face appeared throwing him off guard.
"What about vampires?" Laito asked clearly intrigued by Yuu's unfinished thought.
Yuu has no interested in engaging with Laito simply laid his face on the soft bed feigning death.
Laito finding Yuu's reaction adorable couldn't help but let out a chuckle.
"Don't laugh," Yuu muttered in a muffled voice hiding his face from Laito's gaze.
Undeterred Laito inched closer to Yuu and embraced his waist causing Yuu to uncover his face and give Laito a questioning look: "What are you doing?" he asked.
Laito shamelessly persistent replied with a cheeky smile "I'm hugging you~~"
In that moment, Yuu can't sure how to deal with such a cheeky Laito.
"I just want to sleep", Yuu finally spoke hoping that Laito would take the hint and give him some space.
Closing his eyes, Laito responded nonchalantly "Then sleep."
Perplexed Yuu couldn't help but question Laito's intentions.
"why?" ,he asked realizing that Laito intended to sleep alongside him.
Resting his chin gently on Yuu's head, Laito quietly explained: "Vampires usually sleep during the day."
With a hint of annoyance, Yuu retorted "I'm well aware. And I'm not asking about that!"
In that moment, a vivid memory flashed through Yuu's mind, recalling a certain red-headed brat peacefully dozing off on the couch.
Feigning a touch of sadness, Laito remarked: "Oh, our little cutie raises his voice at me for the very first time."
Remaining unperturbed, Yuu calmly replied "And rest assured it won't be the last."
Amidst a fit of laughter Laito chuckled: "My my, it stings a little when those words come from you."
Yuu closed his eyes and nonchalantly uttered: "Then perhaps you should develop a tougher skin."
Amused Laito commented: "Ouch, little cutie, I never realized you possessed such a sharp tongue."
To his surprise, Laito noticed that this time there was no response from Yuu.
As Laito glanced down he was taken aback to find that Yuu remained unresponsive this time.
