Brad and Vicks were married and currently in the Maldives on their honeymoon and I feel like I'm on a bit of a loved up dream vacation as well. Harry and I have been enjoying our time together at his home in Hampstead and it's like a dream. We have taken walks in the heath together, dined at the local pub, cooked together most evenings and worked in his garden together. Yes, Harry Styles loves to tend to his own flower garden when he's home. He's very good at it also. Each day that I'm here I fall more and more in love with not only Harry, but this city as well. When you're in a place as beautiful and as historic as this place, it's so easy to get inspired. I've managed to begin a rough outline for the sequel to the book I start promoting next week.
Today I've accompanied Harry to an office for his final fittings for his stage costumes for his upcoming tour and he's introduced me to more of his London friend group. They've all been so warm and welcoming. Harry will start his London shows next week and I will be in Los Angeles to kick off my book tour. Ten cities for me and too many to count for Harry. The plan is once my tour is finished I will join him wherever he is at that time. We know it's going to be hard, but we know it's only temporary. Things have felt so settled with us and it's all felt so domesticated in the best kind of way. He's asked me random things about where I see myself in three years and where I want to see my career take me.
Harry has mentioned hosting a small dinner party tomorrow evening and it's a bit of a send off for him for tour and his Mum wants to come see me before I leave as well. He promised it will be small and intimate and I'm thankful he wanted to include me in with his plans. He's cooked us a lovely meal this evening and we are currently enjoying a glass of wine on the back terrace.
"I think we should get a dog." He says out of the blue and I look at him to see if he's serious and oddly enough it seems like he is.
"A dog? You're never home Harry. You sure that's a good idea?"
"Yea. I want a dog. I want us to have a dog together." He says matter of factly.
"We don't even know where you'll be living full time. We haven't even discussed this fully Harry." I laugh.
"We have. Remember when I asked you if you'd live here?" He reminds me of the conversation we had when I first arrived for the wedding.
"You were being serious?" I ask as he nods his head.
"I know this all seems to be moving relatively quickly Ever, but I don't know why we should follow anyone else's timetable for what we want." He says before he takes another sip of his wine.
"And what is it that we want?" I know what I want, I just need to know we are on the same page.
"We want to be happy. We want to be together. We want to make our own rules as we go along." He places his glass on the table and stands, only to then kneel between my seated position. He takes my hands in his and he has a serious look on his face.
