I have the worst hangover ever

I have the worst hangover ever. I remember each and every thing that happened yesterday but god do I have a hangover. How could I forget that the girl curled up against me sleeping right now told me she loved me yesterday?

Yesterday was a whole gamut of emotions. Surprise from the party given by Katie and Niall for my birthday, anger from dealing with some guy and girl trying to cause trouble with Ever and I. Sadness from hearing Everleigh even ask if I wanted to end things with her. Then there's the one emotion that makes the entire experience of a day worthwhile. Love. Pure love.

I knew I had feelings for her, I just didn't know exactly how to describe them or if that's what they were, but once the words left her beautiful mouth, I knew that's what I was feeling too.

I'm in love with her.

I promised Mum that I'd bring her with me today as we go have a bit of a family birthday celebration. If I had known about the party I would have waited to do this. I can't back out now. Mum would be crushed.

"Hey you." I softly whisper to the girl curled up against me.

I place a soft kiss on her forehead and rub my fingertips up and down her back which I at some point managed to slide my hand inside of her sweatshirt in order to touch her skin. Touching her skin like this feels so intimate and it feels so right.

"Princess-"

That one nickname is the one that causes her to stir a bit. I chuckle because I know she has a love/hate relationship with the term of endearment.

"Hey" I say once more.

"Harry Styles what are you doing? Why are you being so annoying?" She groans.

I laugh because she's so grumpy this morning.

"Well, I love you too princess."

Those words get her attention and hitch her breath. I can tell she's running thru her mind the same thing I asked myself when I first woke up- did yesterday really happen.

It did. I wouldn't change it for the world.

"Sweetheart, Mum is expecting us today."

She raises her head and opens one eye to look at me.

"What are you talking about Harry?" She whines.

"Mum wanted to do a birthday dinner thing. She wants us there at noon, which we aren't going to make, but we should get moving anyway."

She sits up and stretches her arms above her head and arches her back like a cat. She's so cute in the mornings.

"I'm sorry I crashed on you last night. Did you sleep well?" She asks.

"I watched you sleep for a bit and then I was out too. It was a bit of a day yesterday." I put it mildly.

"Understatement." She laughs.
