"You may kiss your bride."

The father doesn't have to tell me twice because not even within a second my lips are all over my wife's. I can't help the huge smile on my face when I pull back to look at her. I'm sure my cheeks will be sore tomorrow from all the smiling I'm doing and will continue to do all day.

Katya is already so beautiful, but her beauty was unexplainable when I saw her walking down the aisle. I had to tear up a bit at the amount of happiness bursting inside of while staring at the love of my life walk to me. Her brothers walked her to me, and both looked so happy for her, for us.

"I love you, ojitos." I take her hand with the diamonds and kiss it.

"And I love you, malysh." She looks at me softly.

"Come. Let's go celebrate our love." I take her hand in mine comfortably tight.

She simply nods smiling beautifully at me while holding her bouquet of white flowers in her other hand. We make our way out of the church to see all of our guests already outside immediately throwing flower petals in the air when we step out. We hear a lot of congratulations and kind words as our family steps in front of us.

"I'm so proud of you." Mama tells me but then proceeds to pull my wife into one of her big hugs.

"Congratulations, dear, you look like an angel. So beautiful." She compliments her and I look over at my wife to admire her once more. My mama is not wrong at all.

"Thank you, Lydia. You look beautiful too."

Mama only smiles hard and pulls her into another hug before finally remembering that she has a son. She looks at me proudly and pulls me into her arms.

"Estoy tan orgullosa y feliz por ti, hijo. Your father would be too." She tells me when pulling back.

I know he would be. I took Katya to his grave and she took me to her parents. It was our way of introducing each other to our parents and telling them that we were getting married and that we're madly in love. It was quite bittersweet.

After a few more seconds of talking with the rest of our family and a few guests we finally head for the car. I open the door to help me wife in and then I go around to get into the driver's seat. I get in to see Katya sending kisses to her aunt and brothers, causing me to smile.

I start the car and then she waves to all our guests as I begin to drive. I chuckle because we're going to see them in a few minutes at the reception.

"I'm so happy, malysh." She tells me with contentment in her voice.

"I'm glad." I briefly glance over at her.

She's looking at me with love and a light smile on her face that I'm not sure if she has realized that she is making.
