" Mom do you really have to go?" Hari asked her as mother who was busy packing
" Hari-ah you know how important work is right?and you just have to wait for 1 year we will be back after an year" she said still Puting things here and there
8 year old Hari nodded silently
" Why is America so far?" She asked again
Hee mother slightly chuckled
" Mom will you really come back?" She asked again
" Hari-ah can please stop asking questions, can't you see me doing work?" Her mother yelled resulting in hari to flinch and run away
She ran outside and cried all she could.
Her parents left for America and she started living with her grandmother.
Finally an year past and call comes
" You won't be able to come,how long you have to stay there?" She heard her grandmother talk on the phone
Maybe next year she thought
That next year turned into 3 years
Her parents never came back
She only talked to her parents on phone
She cried almost every day

Her grandmother's house was getting demolished so they had to move
That's when she started living next to seojun
She was 12 when she moved next to him
And she went to the same school as him
Even though she never liked him but since she moved next to him she smiled alot
Even though it was out of sheer amazement of seeing him fall or embarrass himself

Her grandmother didn't treat her nicely at all.
She would throw things at her
Say bad word to her
Since then Hari decided she would never ever forgive her parents for leaving her and if they ever ask her to come to them she would never agree.

( Middle school year)

" Jung Hari " her grandmother yelled as she threw a rice bowl on her head
Hari who is now in middle school trying to wear her shoes fast so she doesn't get late winced in pain by the impact of the bowl
" You better come home early and clean the whole house" she yelled again
Hari just ignored her and left the apartment
" Late again?" Seojun asked her smiling cheekily
She huffed  and started walking away from him
" Hari wait" he said as he started to pick rice out of her hair
She stood there numb to everything
" She did it again, why don't you just report all of them?" He said getting angry
Soejun knows everything that Hari's grandmother does to her
And how her parents are living in America
Only seojun,seojun's mom and sister treat her nicely

" How can I report my parents you idiot" Hari said as they walked together to school
" Just live with us" he said
Hari just laughed and they kept walking

" Hari-ah come eat with us today" seojun mom said
Hari smiled

Seojun mom treated her like her own daughter.always calling her and taking care of her

( High school year)
When Hari came back from her first day of high school she saw her grandmother lying there
" Grandma" she said shaking her

Hari didn't know how to react to the information she was given by the doctor
" Do you have anyone elder at home?" He asked
Hari can't say anything
" Kid i asked do you have anyone who can come here?"
" My parents are in America" she said quietly

How cruel she thought her parents didn't even come back to bury their own parent.

She started living on her own since then
Her mother always saying she can come to them in America
She refused every time

Since then it's only been her and the next door neighbours who actually cared and loved her dearly

Days went by she got more closer to seojun
They loved each other's company dearly but never used to admit it
They were practically bestfriend who hated each other.
