Weeks.
It took you WEEKS to get Klaus gifts. What do you get for the man that has everything he could ever want and even if he didn't, has more money than anyone on the face of the earth and can buy what ever he doesn't have?
It was difficult to shop for him, and you always wanted to since Klaus gave you gifts almost constantly and every time he did he was spot on! He's the best gift giver you've ever met!
The first thing you ever got Klaus was a pair of plaid pajama pants. He doesn't wear pajamas, usually just sleeping in his boxers if you hadn't both passed out naked wrapped up together. You thought it was dumb but he actually wore them, every day you had a lounge in bed kind of day he would wear those pants which prompted you to get him more in different colors.
You got him a new sketchbook, it had a beautiful black wolf on it and he seemed to love it but you couldn't help feeling like he acted like that to spare your feelings...until one day Rebekah spilled her guts.
She told your boyfriend how stressed buying him presents makes you and he sat you down and told you how unnecessary it was. If you want to buy him something because you see it and think of him, that's great, but he doesn't need you to do that for him. He loves giving you presents, that's how he shows his affection, he doesn't expect that back and you Definitely don't need to make yourself upset trying to do it.
He appreciates how much you care for him and he takes every moment of affection you give him as showing your love. You love him with no stipulations or conditions, and that's what he needs from you. Something no one else has ever given him before, and he absolutely adores you for it!
