I enjoy reading everyone's stories and oneshots about Klaus, it's arguably my favorite thing to do. Blindly dissociating and thinking about Klaus Mikaelson for hours every day is my entire life.
That being said the idea that he would give up on his Hybrids for his girl is a strange one to me
Of course I appreciate the sentiment the he would love his mate that much and it's not a bad plot idea to bring up that he loves his mate more than his Hybrids-
However! I would like to raise the point that any good mate would never let him give up on something he has wanted for so long. Help him achieve his dreams, be there for him when it goes wrong and encourage him to keep trying, those are the kinds of stories I live for
I am not in Any Way suggesting that people who don't write like this are wrong or that their stories aren't good, I love all writing for Klaus and some of the best stories I've read have come from the premise of him giving up his quest for Hybrids for his mate
I'm talking in a real sense of someone loving Klaus for himself and wanting him to achieve his goals.
I seriously just wondered if I was alone in this?
