But we have the power to make a fresh start,
choose to see the sunshine, dance in the rain.
With every setback, there's a lesson to learn,
as struggles and hardships shape who we are.
Every mistake made is a chance to discern,
for every scar is a story, a unique memoir.
You can choose to dwell on what's been lost,
or live in the moment, try to savor the sweet.
Embrace the things we do have at any cost,
for they're divine rewards that can't be beat.
It's not what life hands us, but how we respond,
that defines us and makes our passage beyond.
