Love while unwanted is badly needed
like a drug that can be highly addictive.
For without it, life feels like it's on a skid
unable to accept the pleasure it can give.I still think on her almost every damn day
a hole in thy heart where love once resided.
The hardship I shall endure, come what may
despite the pain and the many lives divided. Will this poet ever love again? I'm unsure
as many of us venture down that path alone.
Understanding for this ailment exists no cure
I'm ready at this point to be left on my own.I don't desire solitude, but continue to endure
life still has much to offer, so I'll enjoy the tour.
