In the weeks that followed the incident at the tower, Sophie had thrown herself into combing through all the data obtained from furys personal devices from his home. She was beyond pissed, to find that Hydra were still going, and he had known about it, but hadn't informed anyone. In fact, the files she had found on his home computer, showed he was a part of Hydra, after the death of his son.

Sophie felt sick, knowing that the same people who attempted to take over the world, during the second war, were back at it again.

She had made sure to send everything through to Hill and the team, not wanting to keep any secrets from them. Though they were surprised at a few well known names in SHIELD being on the Hydra list, everyone on the team, were professional about it. They did what they needed to do, without blood shed, most of the time.

With Hill firmly in place as Director, she had orchestrated the perfect teams, to bring down Hydra operatives, without any chaos, damage or loss of life. She was the best woman for the job, she did what Fury couldn't.

Sophie had made a public statement again, after the incident, making it clear, that should the families of the men wish to seek justice, they were more than welcome, to come to her. She had also stated that she would compensate the families, even though it would not make up for the loss they have endured, she wanted to make sure the families were taken care of.

She had spoken with all the other families, as they made contact over the following weeks. She answered all their questions honestly, and told them, that whatever fate they wished on her, she would accept. It surprised her, that after talking with each family individually and then all together, they had decided that Sophie had suffered enough, and they didn't blame her, as she carried enough of it herself, and the guilt. All they asked, was that she would learn to let go of it all, and to speak to someone about the guilt, grief and burden she carried.

That day Sophie broke down crying on her knees in front of them, feeling some weight lift off her. She had no idea as to what she did, to deserve any kind of forgiveness for what she had done, but they forgave her. They had all done their own checks on her, finding out everything she had done for communities, charities, all around the world.

Aside from Furys attack, there wasn't a single person they could find, who had anything bad to say about her. Though there were quite a few online and media haters, Sophie didn't care about them and what they thought, they were not important.

Some of the families asked to remain in touch with her, and she offered to help them all with whatever they needed, even if it was the smallest thing.

She sat back in her chair, putting her feet up on her desk and dropping her head into her hands. The last few weeks had been stressful, emotional and exhausting. The only upside being, that Tia had relinquished control, no longer banging in the back of her mind, wanting to be let out.

'You ok?..'.. Sophie looked up, seeing Tony in the doorway, holding a box of pure treasure. Her mouth began to water, just staring at the box. She heard Tony chuckle, as he walked over, placing it on the desk in front of her, and the bottle of single malt in his other hand... 'I figured it was THAT kind of day..'.. He walk to the side, where her mini fridge was, picking two glasses from the rack above, and sat down across from her, in one of her chairs.

He grinned, seeing her pull the box close and rip it open... 'Happy went all the way England for them..'.. He saw tears in her eyes, as she shoved one in her mouth, moaning at the taste.

'I love you..'.. She sniffled, taking the glass he just poured for her... 'I love Happy too. He's getting a new car, just for these..'

'What about me? What do I get? He did fly over on my jet to get them..'.. Tony holds his arms out, pretending to pout at her.
