FAYE'S POV :
" A werewolf , also known as a lycanthrope, is a creature who normally resembles a human being but , upon the complete rising of the full moon , turns into an uncontrollable, fearsome and deadly wolf . " said Professor Kings and showed a picture of a werewolf on the projector . " This condition was caused by infection with lycanthropy , also known as werewolfry " .
" Now , can someone tell me what is the difference between a werewolf and a regular wolf ? " asked Professor Kings and as usual Lily and Snape raised their hands. " Anyone else? " Professor Kings asked, when she got no response, she sighed and said " yes Miss Evans " .
Lily stood up and confidently said " Werewolves can be easily distinguished from regular wolves by their shorter snout , more human like eyes , the tufted tail , and their mindless hunting of humans and thus more sadistic tendencies whilst in wolf form. At all times they appear as normal humans although they would age prematurely , and would gain a pallor as the full moon approaches . "
" Very good Miss Evans ! 5 points to Gryffindor ! " she said and all the Gryffindor's gave Lilly a thumbs up.
As the class came to an end , I noticed that Remus looked pale and shaken , this got me concerned, so I approached him . " Hey Reemy ! are you alright? " I asked and kept a hand on his shoulder.
" Hi Fee , I didn't see you here ! and yes I'm doing good , just a bit stressed out , I think I'll go and lie down for a bit " he said and walked away .

" Okay so did you read the lesson? " I asked Regulus
He nodded
" Okay that's good " I said , " so you told me you have problems in performing the spell Vera verto right ? " I asked
" Yes " he said
" Okay , so can you tell me exactly how you did the spell ? " I asked him
He looked at me strangely but answered " So I was trying to perform the Spell on an owl , and as Professor McGonagall said I clearly pictured the water goblet in my mind but nothing changed " he said
" Hmmm , can you show me your wand movement please? " I asked
He again looked at me strangely but did as told
He targeted the animal one time and said vera verto , nothing happened
He looked at me sadly
I patted his shoulder and said " Okay Regulus, so they are slight mistakes your making, while performing the spell, the first one Is that your not supposed to perform the spell on an owl , it can only be performed on a rat , aves or felines " I said and saw a rat , I took some cheese out of my bag and kept it on the floor, the rat immediately came there and started munching on it , I picked them up and put it in front of Regulus . " So , use the little one here " Regulus was looking at me with wide eyes.
" Secondly, you're tapping the wand only once, whereas you're supposed to tap it thrice " I said, " now try doing it again " I said
He took a deep breath , tapped his wand three times on the rat and said "vera verto "
The rat transformed into a beautiful black goblet
He smiled widely, " I did it ! " he said
I laughed and said " yes , you did ! "

While Alice and I were completing our essay on werewolves, we noticed something
" Hey Fee "
" Yes "
" Did you notice , Lupin was acting strangely today ? " Alice said
" Yes , yes I did " I said
" Are you thinking what I'm thinking? " she asked
Our eyes widened
" I think Lupin's a werewolf , he disappears every full moon night , he looks emaciated , on top of that he's always under stress " I said
" Poor Lupin " she said
I nodded " we can't even Imagine what it's like for him " I said
We both looked down sadly

While Alice and I were taking a stroll around the black lake , I noticed Alice looking at someone
I followed her gaze and it fell on Frank Longbottom
I smirked " take a picture it will last longer " I said
" What ? no , no I was looking at the giant squid " Alice said while blushing
" Hmmm , you know I saw Longbottom staring at you in the great hall today " I said
Alice looked at me in disbelief
" Frank Longbottom was staring at me , my , my Faye , you're imagining things now " she said, while shaking her head
" Oh really " I said, then splashed some water on her
She gasped and smirked , and splashed some water back at me
We both started giggling and started a water fight
None of the girls noticed but two boys were staring at them with adoration and love

The next morning when Alice and I arrived at the great hall
We saw James standing up on top of the table and saying " I JAMES POTTER PROFESS MY LOVE FOR THE ONE AND ONLY LILY FLOWER "
The rest of the marauders started singing a poem , which I think James had written and it was quite good actually
Luscious red hair
Gorgeous green eyes
you were made to be mine
Lily got furious and shouted at James " STOP CALLING ME LILY FLOWER " and walked out
James said " Feisty I like it " with a smirk
Alice and I couldn't control our laughter
