Hello M'lady

FAYE'S POV :

Alice and I got off the train and heard a familiar voice saying " first years over here ".  " Wow ! he's so huge ! " exclaimed Alice . I slightly laughed . " Yes he is huge but he seems harmless to me . Kind of reminds me of a giant stuffed bear " I said , Alice laughed at my remark .

Alice and I got in a boat along with a sandy haired girl and a dark skinned boy , I looked over and saw mom , I mean Lily, sharing a boat with Snape , a blonde haired girl and a curly haired girl, dad , I mean James, sharing a boat with the grey eyed boy (who for some reason was staring at me),  a sandy blonde haired boy and a blonde haired boy. 

As we were approaching Hogwarts came into view, It's as beautiful as I remembered it , " Wow ! " exclaimed Alice . 

We got into the Castle and Hagrid led us to Professor Minnie , who was like my grandmother, " Welcome to Hogwarts, The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be  something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory and spend free time in your house common room.

'The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honour. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours." she said 

I saw dad and the grey eyed boy snickering and saying something along the lines, " it will be fun " , mum who I think heard what they were saying simply rolled her eyes  .

Then the gates to the great hall opened and Professor Minnie led us inside , everyone including me , were enchanted by seeing the ceiling, which looked like it opened to the heavens.

" Is this real ? " Alice whispered to me, " I don't know but we can check it out ? " I whispered back . Alice looked at me wide eyed and smiled nodding her head. 

" I'll be calling out your name and you'll come forward and the sorting hat will be placed on your head and you'll be sorted into your house. " said Minnie

" Abbot Ryan "

" Black Sirius "

The grey eyed boy came forward and he winks at me , the hat was placed on his head . A few minutes had passed by when It yelled " GRYFFINDOR ".

I looked up and saw mom coming forward and the hat was placed on her head

" GRYFFINDOR"

I clapped and gave her an encouraging smile , which to my surprise she returned , then she turned towards Snape and gave him an apologetic look.

" Fortescue Alice "

Alice looked nervous , so I gave her hand a slight squeeze and gave her an encouraging smile, as she made her way to the chair she slipped, which made everyone laugh. 

" GRYFFINDOR '

I gave her a thumbs up , she ran to the Gryffindor table with the hat on her head , which again made everyone laugh . She ran back to Minnie and gave her the hat .

After a few minutes , the hat yelled " GRYFFINDOR "

" Potter James ", Dad confidently made his way to the chair and the hat was placed on his head

I nervously made my way to the chair and saw Professor Dumbledore and Alice giving me encouraging smiles , I could see dad looking shocked, the hat was placed on my he'd

" back again Ms . Potter , It's nice to see you too Mr. hat , I replied, he laughed , you know you're fit to go into all 4 of the houses, " Mr. hat , I really want to be close to my parents , can you please , please sort me into Gryffindor , he laughed again , " Well I can't deny the person who pulled the sword of Gryffindor , as I said last time , you're destined to do great things Miss Potter , don't undermine yourself , make the best of it " GRYFFINDOR "

I ran to the Gryffindor table and the prefects got up and shook my hand, Alice gave me a big hug , " We both are in the same house imagine all the fun we'll have together " said Alice " and the mischiefs we'll be getting into " I added , she laughed

Somebody patted my shoulder and I turned around to see the grey eyed boy smiling at me , " Hello m'lady " he said kissing my hand . 

I shared an amused glance with Alice " uh hello " , but before he could say anything further , dad pushed him back and stared at me in awe , " I thought my parents and I were the only Potter's left , guess we were wrong , anyways , Hi Faye , my name is James , and we're cousins I think ? " he said questionably 

I laughed and said " Yeah Jamie , we're cousins " he smiled at the nickname
