Chapter 32 - Past

John's PoV

As the large sound wave knocked us down, the cheering crowd after hearing the results immediately falls into silence. I then got back up as I attempt to help Kaguya back on her feet. However, she is not showing any signs of emotions as I helped her stand up.

John: "Kaguya, are you okay?"

Kaguya does not respond as she quietly stand still, not showing any movements nor emotions at all. I then waved my hand at her face to get a response, but to no avail.

John: "Kaguya, what's wrong?"

Still no response from her. I then went ahead and helped Yuzuru up who is confused at the current situation right now.

John: "You okay Yuzuru?"

Yuzuru: "Reply, I'm fine. Is Kaguya alright?"

John: "I don't know what happened to her. She is just standing there like a statue."

Yuzuru: "Concern, what happened to her? She wasn't like this a minute ago."

John: "I'm not sure, it must also has be something to do with the crowd going silent immediately too."

Yuzuru: "Request, we need to leave this area now."

John: "Yeah, but let me go help Tohka too. See if you can get your sister to walk."

Yuzuru nods her head as I then quickly rushed to help Tohka, who is still lying down on the floor.

John: "Tohka, are you okay?"

Tohka: "John? What happened?"

John: "I'll explain later, but first we need to leave this area as soon as possible."

Tohka: "Okay..."

I then helped Tohka up as the both of us then go where Kaguya is. She is still currently standing there as Yuzuru attempts to get her attention, yet to no avail.

John: "Any luck Yuzuru?"

Yuzuru: "Reply, no... Kaguya won't move at all..."

John: "Then I'll carry her."

I then picked up Kaguya in a Princess carry as the three of us heard a scream followed by another at the front stage.

Tohka: "Did you hear that?"

John: "Yeah, it came from the front stage."

As soon as we stepped outside onto the front stage, we are immediately greeted with two girls holding "Shiori" as Miku is seen with a horrified expression in her face.

Miku: "Y-you were a man all along Shiori!?"

Shiori: "W-wait Miku I can explain!"

Miku: "AH! You stupid creature! How dare you trick me! My followers, give Shiori a beating!"

As soon as Miku gave the orders, everyone in the crowd then starts walking towards the stage as the people currently present on the stage starts walking towards "Shiori" with an intent to hurt "her."

"Shiori" then broke free of the girls grips that were holding her as "she" then attempts to stop Miku. However, an ice projectile flew towards "her" as "Shiori" barely managed to dodge it. I then looked at where the projectile came from as the perpetrator surprised me. It was Yoshino, who is currently on top of her angel.

Yoshino: "I-I will not let anyone hurt my big sister...!"

Shiori: "Yoshino what are you doing!?"

Yoshino: "A-anyone who tries to hurt big sister will be harmed...!"
