Live as if You're at the Gathering

Approach life in the same manner you approach eating at gatherings. You patiently wait for one of the shared plates to come to you. When it arrives, you take a reasonable portion of your choice so that others might taste it too. If what you were looking for is already gone, or if the plate with the desired item has passed you by, you pick something else that is available instead. However, if you could take your portion of it yet let it pass by in consideration of others, you will show both modesty and compassion. Don't forget to thank a host for the invitation, though.

Reflect: Are you considerate of others even when it comes at your expense?
