When you judge external things, remember that they're neither good nor bad in themselves, but only your interpretations can make them appear as such. Consider things good or bad if they are solely under your control. Be like a rock. The rock doesn't care what others think and finds its place wherever you put it. So whenever your peace is disturbed, blame no one but yourself. Designate everything that isn't under your control as preferentially indifferent or not preferentially indifferent.
Reflect: Do you remember any situation when you thought something was horrible but ended up working in your favor? How could it change its nature all of a sudden?
