*swap Sarvente's POV*
It's been a week since I became sick, and I'm feeling better now.
Ruv has been acting different around me... Not in a bad way; he just is acting kind of awkward, which he rarely ever is. Something is definitely up with him.
As I am serving mass this afternoon, I hear a knock at the church door.
It's the dark-haired boy and his tomboy girlfriend.
"Oh, it's you." I say. "Perhaps you changed your mind and wish to join the church? I would hate to have a repeat of last time..."
"Beep...", he says (translation: "No..."). "Skbeep bo pee ba." (translation: "We seriously need to use the bathroom.").
When I'm just about to curse them and turn into my demon form, Ruv emerges from behind a pillar (where he probably was the whole time), and heads towards the boy.
"You listen here, you boring-ass midget!", he says as he picks up the kid by his shirt collar, while still bearing a smile. "In case you didn't get the memo last time, stay away from this church, or you will regret it."
He drops the midget, who bolts off out of fear with his girlfriend.
"Thank you, Ruv.", I say.
"No problem!", he says, still bearing a smile. "Shit! I was going to ask you to make some spice cake for him.".
"I know how badly we both want to kill him, but it would be wrong to do that." I say to him.
Ruv sighs.
Since mass is over now, we head back to the living quarters for the day.
I'm lucky to have Ruv in my life. I honestly don't know what I'd do or where I'd be without him.
*Please note that there is not really a personality swap version of Boyfriend and Girlfriend, so I assume swap BF would have less energy / be emo, and Girlfriend would be a tomboy instead of girly.
*For those of you who are unaware, Sarvente's spice cake is so powerful that no average human can consume it. This is an actual thing I got from the Friday Night Funkin: Mid-Fight Masses fandom.
