You felt awful, laying in bed at home was not your idea of in cupheads words 'fun and adventure' sick with a fever and sneezing you knew eventually the brothers would realise something was wrong when you didn't turn up at theirs.
Low and behold you were correct when a knock on your front door occurred.
"Coming..a-achoo!"
You groaned and got up out of bed dragging your feet through the house to the front door but were suprised when you opened the door to only see cuphead instead of both the brothers.
"C-cuphead? Where's mugman?"
"Back at the cottage with elda kettle I thought I'd check on ya when ya didn't show up are you alright?"
"I'm f-fine"
"You don't look so good ya know are you feelin okay?"
"Right as rain"
He squinted his eyes in disbelief
"Are you suuuuure~?"
He cooed eagerly.
"Yep"
As if your body didn't agree with you however.
"A-a-achoo!"
"Wait are you sick?"

"No?..."
"Y/N you should be in bed"

"I was in bed"
"Then let's get ya back to it come on"
He took your hand but seemed suprised by something.
"What?"
"Your burnin up!"
"I'll be fine I just need some medicine"
"Ya bein stubborn I'm takin ya to bed"
He lead you back through the house while taking glances back to make sure you were okay.
Once you both arrived at your bedroom he helped you into bed.
"There"
"This is stupid"
"No it ain't and this is commin from me...do you want anythin to eat?"
"No..."
"Drink?"
"No...you don't have to do this you know?"
"Of course I do your my friend! And ya sick!"
Just your friend? You felt like asking...
You looked at your bed covers as you sat up though.
"Woah easy baby"
You blushed gently.
"What have I told you about c-a-a-achoo! Calling me that?"
"Ehhhh not to?"
"So what do you keep doing it?"
"Because I like what It does to ya what can I say your cute when ya blush"
Your blush deepened and you looked away.
"I am not.." you grumbled.
He jumped up onto your bed and looked at you dead in the eyes with a soft glare.
"Your jokin right?"
"No"
He sighed.
"Y/N Y/N Y/N"
He shook his head side to side.
"W-what?" You groggily asked
"...get some rest I'll be in the livin room if ya need me"
He got off the bed and went to leave.
"C-Cuphead?"
"Yeah Y/N?"
"Thank you.."
He smiled fondly at you.
"Your welcome"
He left the room completely and you layed back starring at the ceiling..
After half an hour your fever and sneezing turned into a headache as well.
You felt like you the last of your kind were going to die like this sickness was an extinction level..
"C-cuphead?" You called.
"Commin Y/N!"
He bolted into the room.
"What can I do for ya?"
C-a-a-achoo!" You sneezed in your sleeve.
"Can you get my p-pain killers for me?"
"Pain killas? Are ya hurtin that badly?" He asked in concern.
"My h-head is yeah"
"Alright I'll be right back"
He left the room but walked back in with a pill and a glass of water.
You sat up but held your head.
Cuphead put the pill and glass down on your bedside table.
"Maybe I should take ya to the doctas"
"N-no n-no I'm- I'm all good"
"Your Not all good Y/N your burnin up,ya heads hurtin ya and ya sneezin your not all good at all your all sick!"
"I-i'll be f-fine once I've taken the pill" you replied so without any hesitation you put the pill in your mouth and drunk some of the water till it went down.
"Feelin any betta?"
Something didn't feel right..
your E/C eyes widened as you bolted out of bed he followed you and as you made it to the toilet you hacked up.
"Sheesh...okay I'm takin ya to the doctas that ain't normal.."
He walked over and held your hair back while rubbing your back.
"Easy baby"
You groaned and cleaned up,flushing the toilet after you finished.
"Cmon I ain't letting ya sit around and stay sick lets go.."
"But cup-head"
"No buts! We're takin ya to the doctas!"

Cuphead walked with you out of the doctors.
"Well I guess it kinda makes sense hah? Ya haven't been having much meat lately and someone like you needs alot of it!"
"Yeah..do I really have to take this pill everyday for a week though?"

"Uhuh! Ya lucky someone in there even knew about your kind!"

uphead firmly stated.
"It dosent look nice though"
"I don't care if it looks like a livin veggie ya eatin it to get betta and I'm gonna make sure of it!"
