Gio sat in the aisle seat. He didn't have to ask Stella which one she wanted, he already knew. But he would've taken the end no matter her decision. The flight had barely even started and they had a long way to go, but he felt excited. And not because of the World Cup.

It was dark outside the windows now, showing off an abyss of clouds. Most of the team had their screens up, heads tilted back in slumber... including Hannah and Christian. However, Gio noted that Stella always kept the window open, and her eyes fully invested on the sky around them.

"Tell me about Boston." He glanced at his... friend. He had to remind himself that's what she was, even when she looked so pretty. She wasn't wearing anything spectacular — but that's why he thought she was even more attractive compared to his teammates girlfriends.

Not that Stella is his girlfriend, he thought.

She was wearing a pair of black sweatpants that cuffed around her ankles and an old white hoodie that was turning créme colored. She wore a pair of scuffed air forces with fuzzy socks. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun that twisted around her colorful scrunchie. She had her glasses on too... and he knew it was a rare sight to see. Stella let out a sigh, turning to face him in her chair.
