64.) house of cards

8 3 4

I'm falling like a house of cards,
house of cards,
house of cards.

The truth is tearing my heart apart,
heart apart,
heart apart.

You know I'd never say a thing.
Not one word, no, nothing.
I will not hum nor sing,
but I still feel something sting.

I'm falling like rain,
I'm falling like snow.
I'm falling like hailstone
you would never know.

I'm falling like a house of cards,
house of cards,
house of cards.

The truth is tearing my heart apart,
heart apart,
heart apart.

When did this even start,
even start,
even start?

Never mind I'll turn this seed into art,
into art,
into art.

All a snowflake can do is fall
from the skies above, above all.
And I know that God knows all.
Of all orbs that live on this ball.

I'm falling, still, in silence.
Silent snowfall upon a hill, so mute it's violent.

I'm falling like a house of cards,
house of cards,
house of cards.

The truth is tearing my heart apart,
heart apart,
heart apart.

My eyes see courage on my mood ring.
Who knows what these signs will bring.
Now I am tempted to say something.
Maybe I shall not say, but sing.

And if my voice is rejected or denied,
at least I can go on to say that I had tried.
And I can go on to fall by their breath.
Like a house of cards falling to its death.
