Legacy's continue.

First mission.

We flew for a little while. "Nezuko, how you doing?" Tanjiro asked. "She's probably sleeping." He said. I nodded and looked down. I had been following a river for some time and saw a village up ahead. I signaled tanjro. "A town to the north west. This is probably it. Let's land over there." He said. I went down and landed near a more wooded area. "Ok bud. Your mission is to find a creature, I'm guessing a dragon. You do that, and I'll take care of the demon." He said. I nodded. He then got Nezuko out of the holding thing and noticed something. "I though they used it, or did they get me another one?" He asked. It was another haori. "They probably made  it to hopefully cover up my suit. Since it would probably draw a lot of attention. He put the haori on. "Ok. Let's Rendezvous here around this time tomorrow." He said. I nodded. "Go on bud."

I stayed on the ground, hoping to find a scent. "Hey." Toothless said. I kept searching. "I realized I helped you train, and you've seen a small fraction of dragons. But there's a lot more you haven't, so I just wanna help you." He said. Sounding guilty because he didn't want to stop my work. I looked at him. "I know. I just figured I would have probably had to wing it. And you can't leave me. So.... I figured this too." I said kinda laughing. He sighed. "Oh good." He said. I went back to searching. Me and toothless split up. I was covering the ground looking for any clues or scents.

By the time dusk had rolled around, me and toothless had searched most of the closest surrounding woods. And couldn't find a scent or scale. "We've looked everywhere, accept the town. We can't really go in there until dark. And I'd rather- " "Stinger!" We both looked over. We saw movement in the bushes. I got up and ready. "Sting-Ahh!" I dragon came through on two legs. It looked at me. "A night fury!" It said. It had two hind legs, a big fin on the head and two on the back. "A speed stinger?!" Toothless said. The speed stinger, had its tail pointed at me in a defensive position. "It can paralyze you with its tail." Toothless said. "Why are you in my turf?!" She asked. "Why are you here? And who were you calling for?" I asked. "My mate! Stinger! He's been missing the past couple days. I've been looking everywhere for him. But I won't go in the humans turf. Because he hasn't come out." She said.

"Wait, your mate went in the town?" I asked. I looked over. Could he be trapped, or did the demon get him? "Hey listen. I'm not here to hurt you." I said. "Then why are you on my turf?!" "Because I was looking for you. You left the hidden world right? Im trying to get all of the dragons back before they get hurt or killed or even......" I stopped. "Or even what?" She asked. "Is it possible?" I asked. Toothless. "We are you talking too?" "I don't know. "He's only turned humans into demons. But, that's doesn't mean it couldn't also work on dragons." He said. "Wait..." she said. I looked and the speed stinger was looking at my nose. She the backed up. "It, can't be." She said. She then quickly got down. "I'm sorry your highness." She said. "Woah, wait what?" I said. "Your white spot. It shows your one of toothlesses Descendants. And your.... Family." She said. My eyes widened. "My family. What about my family?" I asked. "They.... They came into the hidden world. I was just a kid. But I saw them fly in. And they looked battered and bruised. They talked about a being. A monster. They said you lost your tail was left you for dead. Thinking it was useless to try to bring you." She said. My eyes got wide, but furious. "Ok, well thanks for the information. But let's find your mate." I said.

Once it was dark I told her to stay and I left into the town. Tanjros probably looking for the demon. Since she showed me there home area, I had his sent. I sniffed around. There's his scent, and another. I followed the scent as it was getting stronger. I followed it so to a hidden area that looked big enough for a speed stinger, with some blood. Did a demon get him? I noticed a couple trails that have dried. He probably tried to leave but was maybe scared of the humans. Even if what toothless says about them is true, an encounter with a demon can be traumatic. I remembered that night. Ok. Let's kill this son of a bitch. Then on to the next one.
