[After a week]
"Finally they got engaged."
Kate looks at Mark, who was smiling at the happy ceremony.
Sounds of cheers are coming from everywhere. The kids at the ceremony seemed to be gathering at the food corner, while the adults were cheering for the duo that just got engaged, Elena Lynn and Sirius Jones.
Kate hugs Elena.
"Congratulations my dear! Now I can be assured that I don't have to call up my bestie late at night for checking whether she had her dinner or not because of all the surgeries.... Cause now, she has a husband."
Elena grabs Kate.
"That shouldn't be a reason for you to not call me anytime you want. I would still be anticipating my bestie's call, be it in the afternoon or in the middle of the night."
Both Elena and Kate smiles.
Mark and Sirius also grew a good bond of friendship in the meantime.
"I heard much of you.... Consider yourself lucky because Kate rarely mentions the name of boys, unless it's of someone special."
Mark blushes.
"I wish to see myself standing before my dear friend in an engagement next time. Hope you guys won't sleep on that."
Sirius taunts.
"Well.... We will try to not but everything depends on what situations are coming in our way."
Elena walks upto her husband, Sirius.
"Where's Aiden?"
She asks him.
Sirius looks at her,
"He was here even before the engagement but later left. He texted me that he suddenly has to attend an important meeting. I can't help."
Elena nods.
"Well guys.... Mark and Kate. We'll be anticipating your engagement the next big thing in our life."
Elena locks her arms with Sirius's.
Kate and Mark smiles.
"We too hope so."
