"Mark?"
Kate gasps at the sudden appearance of the unexpected.

"I returned from Thailand because I realised, I am missing the girl who used to taunt me for my silly mistakes, yelled at me for burning the food, and worried for me when I had fever."
Mark's eyes seemed to be glowing.
Maybe it was the light that was getting reflected by tears in his eyes.

"You realised that now?"
Kate almost tells at the top of her voice.

Mark remains silent.
"It was you who didn't gave an answer even when your heart was sinking deep inside seeing me go."

Mark looks down at his feet, unable to look at Kate in her eyes.

"Do you even have any idea of how much I waited for you? Everyday I kept thinking that you would come back, but you didn't. My friend is getting engaged next week and here I am, waiting for someone who didn't even text me after leaving me like that, crying."
Her voice faints.

"I'm here to tell you, I'm not leaving again like that."
Mark finally looks at Kate.

A moment of silence between them.
Both the blonde and the silver's tears rolling down their cheeks.

Kate runs to Mark and hugs him tightly.
"Promise me that you'll never leave me again like that."
She sobs.

Mark nods.
"Sorry that I left like that. But I promise I would never do it again."

Both of them hug tighter and feel warm in the closure, while someone at a distance feels the cold of the December.

The silver guy wearing glasses knows that he doesn't stand anymore chances in Kate's heart. Well.... Maybe it's what he deserves for leaving her in the blue, but what could've he done? Was anything within his hands? No.... It wasn't, it isn't and he doubts whether it'll be ever.....

The manager-cum-CEO has lost to his worker...... Not as a CEO, but as a boyfriend.
