"Manager?"
Elena literally screams in shock.

Kate calms her down.

"Yeah. Why?"
Kate leans towards Elena.
"You are surely hiding something from me. Come on, spill the tea girl!"

Elena scrunches her nose.
"Nothing much just....... A few minutes back, near the cashier, I bumped into him. He apologized and left."

"And---?"

"And........ I think he left a good impression on me."

"Something something..... Huh?"
Kate cuddles Elena.

"But" Kate sits back "Do you think it'll work out?"

Elena looks at Kate with her doe-eyes.
"Work out like what?"

"There are rumours in our office that he is like those strict managers, like workaholic type. He never wastes his time."

"Rumours will be rumours. For my part, I didn't feel like that. He may seem very strict and professional, but I felt something else."

"Everyone feels like that when they fall in love."
Kate taunts Elena while finishing her drink.

Elena smiles softly and finishes hers.

(The next day)

(In Kate's Office)

"Good morning Ella and Sirius!"
Kate's cheery voice greets her colleagues.

"Good morning"
"Good morning"

"Have you guys heard that our new manager is joining today?"
Mrs. William enters the room while sipping the warm coffee from her mug.

"Mr. Anderson?"
Ella waits for an answer.

"Hmm. The CEO stuck a notice on the notice board
' Everyone is requested to attend the ceremony that is going to be held today at office auditorium, after office hours, from 7 pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.' "
Mrs. William bickers.

Kate laughs softly.
"Then let's start the work right now and finish it as early as we can for today."

Everyone grabs their seats and gets engaged into their work.

Kate works at a design studio, Style Lexus (SL), one of the most popular design studio of this time.
The department Kate is in, works for designing dresses and coming up with good ideas of those.

(After the office hours)

Everyone of the office gathers at the ceremony.

"It seems as if it is going to be long!"
Kate whispers into Ella's ears as she sits down beside her.

Ella nods.

"Now, we will like to welcome Mr. Anderson on the stage to congratulate him for his success."
The announcer announces.

A tall, handsome guy enters the stage, followed by a big round of clap from the audience.

"He is Mr. Anderson?"
Kate literally freaks out. A series of incidents flashes before her eyes.

He can't be the Aiden that she knows!

Her eyes widen. She is in total disbelief.

"What is even happening?"
Kate feels a voice screaming inside her mind.

Unable to hold back her thoughts, she outside the hall.
