3rd Person POV
it was the day of nationals and iris was worried but she wouldn't show that. she began the day by getting dressed and calling flynn as she walked to the field and saw everyone. flynn answered and smiled
"hey there rider. how are you?" she asked and iris showed her bullet as flynn smiled brightly and then reggie popped up
"its nationals, I needed a flynn pep talk" she said and flynn smiled ad reggie did too.
"wait can I talk about that horse for a second?" reggie asked and iris laughed with reggie as he smiled at them
"maybe later reg. alright iris, breathe" flynn began and iris set her phone up on a bale of hay so they could see her , bullet and any others near them
"okay" iris said and she took a deep breathe in with her nose and then let it out and nodded
"you are going to do amazing today, you always do. i know that we arent there in the physical but we're here supporting you and cheering you on from home. we miss you rider and we know that no matter what you will always be number one in our hearts and our minds so give it your all and if you fail, its okay. we're here for you and I'm sure everyone else is too. so go out there and do what you do. we love you" flynn said and iris felt tears In her eyes and she smiled as she wiped them and sighed
"oh god flynn, you always know what to say" she replied and flynn laughed softly
"i try" she said and iris lifted her head as she heard becky and she sighed. she turned back to flynn and reggie as they nodded knowing that she had to go.
"i love you guys. we'll talk soon" iris said and they both nodded
"love you. good luck!" flynn said and she ended the call as iris put it on silent now and she looked up to see becky and the others staring at her and she sighed.
"its just my friends from home, i needed one of her pep talks" she said and zoe smiled
"yeah you and flynn never could go without each other" she said and iris nudged zoe as they both smiled and iris looked at beckys costume
"nice get up. i like it" she spoke and becky smiled at her
"thanks" she replied and iris ran her hand over his mane as they all looked at each other and iris grabbed zoes hand as Marcus spoke
