So Called Friends (Yamaguchi X Reader)

Chapter 22

          You woke up to a blaring alarm clock. You jumped yourself awake with your heart beating out of your chest. It scared the crap out of you, (bsf/n) just groaned before reaching over and turning it off. She sat up and yawned before stretching

"Good morning (y/n)"

She said in between her stretch with a groggy morning voice

"What the hell!"

You yelled with the same groggy morning voice, you looked at her confused and pissed

"What?"

She genuinely asked confused

"...Oh"

She said after you had given her that look, she realized you were talking about the alarm clock

"The guys have a match today against Aoba Johsai high school, I thought you knew that?"

She akwardly rubbed her neck embarrassed for not mentioning it sooner

"Ugh, I'm so tireeeeddd"

You groaned as you threw yourself back on the bed not wanting to get up. Soon after the boys popped into the room to see if you guys were awake

"Good morning sleepy heads "

Tsuki teasingly said while brushing his teeth. Yamaguchi next to him doing the same

"We only have 20 more minutes to get ready"

Yamaguchi said  with his tooth brush in his mouth

"Yeah so hurry up and get dressed you losers"

Tsuki added on as they walked out of the room and closed the door behind them

"UghHhH"

You groaned again wanting to cry, it was currently 8:30 In the morning, this was the earliest you had to get up on a weekend, and especially for a sleepover. You guys hurried yourselves up and got downstairs to a warm breakfast Yamaguchi's and (bsf/n's) mom made. There was homemade chocolate chip pancakes, you all rushed to the table scarfing down the breakfast so you wouldn't be late

"Thanks for the breakfast mom"

Yamaguchi smiled at his mother finishing his last couple bites

"Yeah thanks"

(Bsf/n) said licking the syrup off her lips. You thanked her aswell finishing your last couple of bites too. You all got  into their mom's van and a long drive, she dropped you guys off at the match

"I'll be back after work, good luck hunny"

She smiled at the two boys before heading off. You walked in with the group and you looked around 'man, this gym is wayyy bigger than the one at school'  you thought to yourself as you looked around. You seen the rest of the team and started running over to wish them good luck. Then you noticed a player you haven't seen before

"Oh, hello"

You walked up to them with a smile

"Who are you?"

Daichi looks over and introduces the tall odd man to you. He looked older because of his facial hair and had some kind of man bun. You could definitely tell the guy was a bit nervous

"Oh, this is my main man Asahi"

So called Asahi nodded his head. He looked even more nervous. You couldn't tell if it was because of you or the up coming match or both

"This is Yamaguchi's friend y/n and his sister over there is bsf/n"

Daichi added, Asahi just nodded

"N-nice to meet you"

He said looking as if he's gonna throw up. Daichi yelled at the poor man

"If your still sick you shouldn't have come today"

You giggled but also felt bad for Asahi. When you guys got deeper into the gym you realized how many people were actually at this thing. It started to make you nervous too. You looked around to see that (bsf/n) was missing 'she must have went to the bathroom'.  You looked around and it had seemed that there were actually a few players missing too. 'They must be somewhere warming up or something ', you sat alone starting to panick when someone turned you around and held your cheeks, it was Yamaguchi

"Hey, its ok "

He gave you a warm smile and pulled you into a hug

"Remember when y out had to do this for me?"

He giggled causing you to giggle. You hated to be alone, especially in a new crowded place like this one. You hugged him back closing your eyes enjoying his comfort. It was so relaxing, he smelled like this mornings breakfast so sweet and warm. Just then he pulled you back and akwardly blushed

"L-let me take you to a private part in the stands. My sister will meet us there"

He took your hand leading you through the crowd. You were so starstruck on what just happened and blushed like mad behind him. You were sad the hug was over but he still kept a firm hold of your hand
