Biana's POV

I know it's super cheesy, but I've been listening to love songs. 

Suddenly, my phone chimed, and I broke out of my sort-of-depressed-sort-of-excited funk.

Linh_Song: ʜᴇʏ ʙɪᴀɴᴀ ᴍʏ ꜰʀɪᴇɴᴅꜱ ᴀɴᴅ ɪ ᴀʀᴇ ɢᴏɪɴɢ 2 ᴅɪɴɴᴇʀ ᴀᴛ ᴛʜᴀᴛ sushi ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇ. ᴅᴏ ᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ 2 ᴄᴏᴍᴇ?

DO I WANT TO COME? OF COURSE I WANT TO COME! I've forgotten how long it's been since I'd been invited on anything. It'd been almost 5 months since the first day of school, where obnoxious Kelly had ruined my life.

Biana_Vacker: ᴡʜᴏ ʀ ᴜʀ ꜰʀɪᴇɴᴅꜱ?

I couldn't appear too excited for this. Otherwise she'd think I'm super lame.

I fell silent, worried I'd blown it.

Linh_Song: ᴛᴇᴀꜱɪɴɢ ᴜ. ᴍᴀᴋᴇ ꜱᴜʀᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴡᴇᴀʀ ꜱᴏᴍᴇᴛʜɪɴɢ ꜰᴀɴᴄʏ

I giggled, taking a deep breath. I was getting flashbacks to the time Kelly said that some jock had asked me on a date and told me to meet him at a sushi place, but it was really Kelly's annoying brother who had a crush on me. Did I have PTSD? I burst out laughing at the thought.

Biana_Vacker: ᴋ, ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴛɪᴍᴇ?

Linh_Song: 6:00. ꜱᴇᴇ ᴜ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ!

I sighed happily. Maybe this wouldn't suck.

Tam's POV

I was chilling in my room when Linh flounced in. "Hey, Tam, someone's here for you." She said. "She says her name is Kelly."

My face lit up, and I bounded downstairs and opened the door to find Kelly standing there, smiling brightly. "Hey, Tam!"

I was too shocked by her bright smile to ask how she knew this was my house, and she smiled brightly at me, her blue eyes twinkling. 

"H-hi, Kelly."

Kelly's face flashed in annoyance for a brief second, but it disappeared so fast, I thought I'd imagined it. "So, I'm going to dinner at that sushi place tonight, and I decided to invite you."

"Oh, c-cool. Let's do it." 

"Oh, really? Great, let's do it at 6:00!" Kelly said, flipping her blonde hair.

Kelly closed the door, and I could hear the sound of a car driving away. EEEEE! I HAD A DATE WITH KELLY!

Linh's POV

After my whole phone exchange with Biana, I mumbled, "Another one bites the dust."

Sophie_Foster: ʏᴇᴘ, ᴊᴜꜱᴛ ᴀʀʀɪᴠᴇᴅ 😏

Then, I flounced into Tam's room, trying to hide my gleeful smile. "Hey, Tam, someone's here for you." I said, surprised by how calm my voice sounded. "She says her name is Kelly."

Tam's face lit up, and my smile almost surfaced again. I snickered as he hightailed down the stairs, like some damsel from a movie.

I quickly texted Sophie.

When Tam practically tore the door open, I gasped. It really looked like Kelly. However, I knew it was Sophie. She was wearing blue contacts, a butt-ton of makeup, and her older sister, Jolie's clothes, which was tight jeans, tight black boots hitching up to her thigh, a pink tank-top, and a white puffer jacket to protect her from the cold that was now creeping in. 

I scrambled back upstairs, but minutes later, I heard the door close again, and my phone chimed loudly.

Now, I usually don't care about my brother's love life (usually cause there's not much happening), but Biana Vacker had a HUGMONGUS crush on my brother, and we needed to save him from Kelly's evil clutches! And now, they were going on a date - well, ish.
