Me and brett walked into Molly's together for Mouch and Trudys reception and we went to the bar
"Soda for the lady" Hermann said passing me my already made glass. I smiled taking it and Brett ordered her drink
"Hey" I looked to see Severide beside me in a suit and gosh did he look amazing
It hugged his muscles in all the right places and you could see whenever they shifted below
"You look amazing" he complimented and I blushed going red
"Thank you, you look great too" he smiled and ordered himself a drink
"Guys! Take a seat!" We all went and sat down in the chairs and the wedding song started playing for Trudy who then started walking down the isle

Me and Severide sat beside Trudys friends on the table and I could tell we both hated it
We had just sat with the rest of 51 talking but Trudy was very clear on her seating placements so we had to go back
"I think it's time I head home" I said and he nodded standing up
"I'll walk you"

"I want to" he finalised and I nodded heading for the door. Once we got out of the bar we started walking down the street
"you really do look beautiful tonight" At the compliment i almost didn't feel his hand slip into mine. I looked down trying to hide my face
"Thank you" I whispered "thanks for taking me home as well"
"that's alright even if I didn't want you safe I would still want to get off that table with them" we both laughed together
Trudy's friends- they were something else I guess you could say
We got to my house a few minutes later and we finished our conversation as we turned to each other
His hand was still in mine for some reason unknown to me but he didn't make any attempt to move it
"I need to get something off my chest? Is that alright?"
"Of course" I said and he took a deep breath before starting
"I care about you rain not just as a friend, but more and I know I've got a reputation for sleeping around or whatever but I want you to know if you're in a relationship with me that's nothing to be worried about. if you don't feel the same way that's fine but I've just been suppressing my feelings for you and I can't do it anymore. Your always on my mind and we're not even together. Your laugh, your smile, your beauty. Everything.-" I shut him up by standing on my top toes and pressing my lips to his in a kiss
