"I would like to announce next week Antonios boxing gym. Trudy and I are hosting an old-fashioned Battle of the badges"

"Booo!" Everyone groaned

Hermann: "I love it that's the best news I've heard all week"

"What is that? And who's Antonio?" I asked Gabby as we sat beside each other on the large table

"He's my brother, and single" she nudged me with a smile and I rolled my eyes shaking my head

"50 bucks a head for a good cause"

"what's the cause?"

"Ah, it's to be determined at this time" Mouch stuttered but by the look on his face, he knew what it was

"alright let's not get bogged down with the whys and what-Fors, all right? All I care about is who's fighting for 51. Capp are you in?"

"can't. my mum says I have a deviated septum."

"actually I already volunteered" Jimmy said "Antonio sorted me out" Gabby turned to him

"my brother set it up? do you even know how to box?"

"Kind of. Danny and I used to go to the MMA gym down on diversity" I leaned into her ear

"He doesn't have all the muscles for nothing" I whispered and she laughed

"That's funny rain but MMA isn't boxing"

Hermann: "enough with the nah-saying. All this kid needs is the right trainer and he's going to be ready to post that cop open like a doughnut filled piñata. Fortunately.... Im the man for the job"

"Yeah like 40 years ago" Gabby whispered into my ear and I turned away trying to to laugh

"alright candidate we are going to start some combos. I'm going to go grab the steaks"

"Steak?"

"Yeah"

"that's soldier Field" Cruz said as we all stood up

"hey is that smoke purple?" There was purple smoke or powder everywhere and people were running out of the building as we pulled up to the scene

We tried to get everyone away from the smoke first

"Jacob. With me. Bring the gas meter" Casey said and I put my mask on

"Let's go" we went inside and went to find people and get them out. I brought out a woman and me and Casey exited with some guy he was carrying

"Go with the medics" I handed her off to a paramedic and went to Chief

Me: "A lot of smoke. No heat. No visible fire"

Casey: "Readings are normal" we went back inside trying to find more people

Once we got back to the firehouse and out of the trucks we all stood outside watching at 5 or 6 police cars sped past

Otis: "what's that all about?"

"another bomb threat" Connie, chiefs assistant said
