3rd Person POV
"nate? what's up?" ronnie asked as she removed her apron and turned to him
"well i'm going for a canoe ride and i wanted to know if you wanted to join , i want to know you veronica lake" he said and she turned to connie
"is it okay if i go?" she asked and connie smiled brightly
"of course it is kiddo go have fun and be safe" she said and she rubbed ronnie's back
"alright let's go then" she said and she followed nate out of the mess hall and to the canoes
"alright get in" he said and she climbed in as she tightened her life jacket and he tightened his. they pushed off the land and they started to row around the lake
"ooo what's happening here?" sander said and she turned her head to him as nate groaned
"why does everybody keep doing that?" he asked and she giggled under her breathe
"sorry. we're just doing our job as activity directors" he said and she snapped her head towards nate in fear
"and what is the activity today?" he asked
"wakeboarding!" sander said and they road off as ronnie and nate were flipped out of the water
"well that was fun" she spoke and nate nodded with a smile on his face
"watch this" she said and she splashed him with water as he turned his head away in shock
"OH YOU DID NOT JUST" he said and she giggled
"oh but i did" she spoke and he splashed her back as she gasped dramatically
"alright veronica lane, tell me something about you that no one knows" he said as they managed to flip the canoe and get back in
"oh i love birds likes any birds" she spoke and he smiled at her
"tell me something about yourself that no one else knows nate" she spoke and his mind ran empty . he had nothing, he was sitting in front of the girl that he found gorgeous, stunning and every word under the sun that could represent godlike and yet his mind went blank
she had trouble opening up to people, she never knew what to say or do so she put it in song form. she put in ways people would understand if they just listened and tried to understand and right now as she was sitting in front of nate grey, a guy she found enchanting. she watched his mouth blubber like a fish and she watched in annoyance until he came up with something
