3rd Person POV
the next morning, ronnie was woken up by mitchie and caitlyn staring at her. she groaned as she rubbed her eyes on annoyance and she sat up
"what? what is it that you could possibly need at... 8:30 in the morning?" she asked in annoyance as she swung her legs over the edge of her bed and she jumped off of it
"brown called a meeting in the mess hall, get dressed" caitlyn spoke and she nodded
"i'll be quick" she said and she walked to her bag as she pulled out a change of clothes and she walked to the bathroom. she didn't notice that caitlyn was following after her
"hey ronnie?" she asked as soon as ronnie walked into the bathroom and she started to change
"yeah cait?" she responded
"are you okay?" caitlyn questioned as ronnie pulled her shirt over her head and pulled her hair out from under it
"i um yeah yeah i am. why?" she now asked in confusion
" i just... i know that you and tess were like best friends and last night she just..." caitlyn led off as ronnie removed her pants and underwear. she put on a change of underwear and shorts before she grabbed her toothbrush from out of the holder
" i don't know caitlyn maybe it was for the best" she exclaimed and caitlyn sighed as she leaned against the wall
"maybe but you are allowed to be sad about it, i heard what she said to you" caitlyn tried and ronnie nodded
"is that why you're worried?" she said and caitlyn sighed
"yeah" she whispered
"caitlyn truly i am fine, i meant what i said to her and that won't change" she said and caitlyn smiled brightly
"i don't want you to change either" caitlyn said and ronnie chuckled softly as she spit out out the toothpaste and she ran a hair brush through her hair
"and i won't" she said and she used the mouthwash before she washed her toothbrush and put everything back where it was. she opened the door and she was met with caitlyn
"hi" ronnie said and caitlyn rushed forward as she hugged her and ronnie hugged back
"shoes and then we can leave" she said and caitlyn let her go. she walked over and she grabbed her shoes from next to her bed. she shoved them on and she stood up
