"I have to go." said Patrick.

"What do you mean you have to go? You're gonna go after your friend? At this hour?" Melanie calls out his godson as he was about to run.

"Patrick, you're supposed to accompany Valerie tonight. Why don't you stay here?" Benjamin interjects.

"No! I have to go! I need to get my car." Patrick answered his godfather aggressively.

"Patrick!" Esther called her son's attention.

With so much emotion, Patrick leaves while carrying the shoe.

The six were both stunned and surprised.

"I'll go after him. I think the rest of you should continue entertaining everyone. Excuse me." said Esther.

She then proceeded to run after Patrick.

Patrick is in the parking lot.

He calls a valet.

"Sir, my keys."

"No sir, don't give him the keys. I'll talk to him first. Please excuse us." Esther suddenly intervenes.

"Alright ma'am."

The valet leaves and Esther confronts Patrick.

"Patrick Matthew Soledad."

Patrick was obviously upset.

"Are you even thinking straight? What are you doing?"

"Look ma, I'll explain later. Right now, I need to find Cyril."

"No you don't! You're supposed to be with Valerie. Remember, this isn't just my wedding anniversary with your father. It's your engagement party too! Stop being reckless!"

Patrick's patience has run out.

"How about you stop controlling my life so much?!"

Esther was shocked after hearing that Patrick answered back at her.

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me young man!"

Patrick remained silent.

Esther looked angrily at Patrick.

"We're not done yet. You will go straight home, okay?"

"What?!"

"You heard me. You're not going anywhere. I'm telling the valet to bring you home. We'll talk afterwards."

Esther called the valet.

"Sir, take him home."

She looked at Patrick again.

"And don't you dare do anything stupid. Me and your dad will handle the rest of the party. You will go home."

Esther runs back to the party.

The valet starts the engine of Patrick's car.

Patrick sits at the front seat.
