Benjamin receives a text from Melanie.
The text says "Meet me at the back".
Benjamin asks permission from Esther and Erwin.
"Friends, I need to leave you for a moment. Melanie is calling me from behind."
"Sure no worries!"
Said Esther.
"Get back soon!"
Erwin tells him.
Benjamin leaves to meet up with Melanie.
Melanie, on the other hand, is calling different people.
Benjamin sees her.
"Honey, I'm here. What's this for?"
Melanie hung up the phone to talk to her husband.
"I just called our private investigator. Apparently, Patrick knows that boy, but we don't ..."
"You mean... the gay guy in the dress?"
"I don't even know if that was a dress... Or a tux. It's honestly confusing."
Benjamin and Melanie were both puzzled.
"I told the investigator to do more research about the stranger tonight. He doesn't sit well with me. Maybe he's the one who would ruin our plans."
Benjamin likes where his wife is going with her scheme.
"Well we can't let that happen."
"And we're not gonna let that happen anymore."
Melanie was determined to tell him.
"What do you mean?"
Melanie puts on an evil smile.
"It's obvious that this stranger has no idea about the real purpose of this party. And it seems like Patrick didn't inform him either."
Benjamin has no clue on what his wife was saying.
"So?"
"So, we're gonna remind him, along with everyone else about the real purpose of this ball."
They both look at the stage.
"Follow me. I have a plan."
Melanie orders Benjamin.
They leave the backstage, and step onto the front stage.
