***Catholine's POV***

I was sat in Lucy's bedroom, waiting for her to be done talking with her parents. It had been 2 days since the funeral, and Lucy's parents were considering letting her live with me seeing as it would be hard to cope on my own. After what seemed to be hours, Lucy came upstairs frowning,

"Sorry Cat, Mum said I should wait 'til I'm 18. Finances 'nd shit," she sighed,

"It's fine, I can ask Christopher," I said, forcing a smile. I was actually pretty disappointed, but life goes on. Ha. Pretty ironic. Okay, I'll rephrase that - Life goes on, for me. She raised one eyebrow,

"Are you sure, I mean... he's like, a boy an' all... an older boy..." Lucy was always suspicous of everything, I laughed,

"Luc', you know I'm like, responsible," I said, batting my eyelashes,

"Ha. Yeah," she laughed. Me and Lucy have always got on, never had an argument since the day we met. Her parents treated me like I was their second daughter, and to be honest, they were like my second parents. I hugged Lucy and said good-bye, and went outside to my car. I opened the car door and sat in the drivers seat. I just sat there, bored, even though I could've just started driving home. I decided to call Chris to see if we could meet up.

***Christopher's POV***

I heard my phone ring, playing my awesome Mario Bro's tune.

"Sup," I heard light laughter from the other end,

"Hey, guess who,"

"Can't be arsed." I said. she sighed - I figured it was a girl.

"Urgh, CAT!"

"Oh," I chuckled, "Er, what's up?" I rubbed the back of my head.

"I was wondering if you want to meet up or something?"

"Er, yeah kay. Sand park at quarter past?"

"Cool."

She hung up. I don't even know if were officially dating or not. Damn, serious relationships are confusing. I walked in the bathroom and pulled on a Bring me the horizon tee. No, I'm not emo. Labels are pretty stupid, but I suppose you could stereotype me as one. But weirdly enough, I'm popular and girls find me irresistable. I looked in the mirror and fiddled with my metalic blue snakebites. I winked at myself in the mirror, "looking good," yes I know, I'm vain, and cheesy, but that's just how I am. I heard laughing behind me, I turned round and frowned. Mom laughed again,

"It's okay, we all know that you like to admire yourself in the mirror," she laughed.

"Ha. Very funny," I continued to frown, but I do love my Mom, she's always been there for me.

"Alright dude, chill," she laughed, and left. I walked downstairs and out of the house, and walked to the sand park, which was only a few blocks down from where I live.

***15 minutes later***

I opened the gate to the park and instantly saw Cat... talking to some dude. I looked at him, feeling pretty jealous, and felt my fists clench. He had dark blonde hair, with probably un-natural highlights. He was wearing a chavvy cap sideways and was holding a skateboard, (there's a skate park behind the sand park) he was wearing an open black and white checked shirt with a t-shirt underneath saying, "Shit happens," he also had a single silver lip ring. Douche. I walked over casually and pulled Cat into my arms and said, "Sup Kitty Cat?" I realised how amazingly gay and stupid that sounded as Cat burst out laughing. I heard the blonde dude laugh and say, "Whoa, possessive!" I pulled back and stared at him. He was good looking, no, I'm not gay, I'm just sayin', y'know, if I was a girl an' all... Cat looked at me, trying to control her laughter, "Don't you get jealous," she punched me lightly on the shoulder, "this is Chace, and he teaches me to skate," she said smiling. I put my arm back 'round her and looked at him, "So, you're teaching her to skate. How long you been doing it for then?" He put his board down and stood one leg on it, the other on the ground, still, "3 months now I think, and you're lucky, she's one hot girl," he laughed and hit my on the arm, jeez what's it with arm punches today. I stared at him like he's a moron, 'cause he is. "Well, gotta run, see ya round maybe?" He went up and kissed her full on the mouth and then skated away towards the skate park. I stared at him in astonishment, and Cat laughed, "Hey, we're just friends, it's just our sort of err, thing?" I frowned at her, and she laughed again, "Don't worry, he's married,"

I stared at her, "What? How old is he?" she laughed again, wow, she's got a lota laughs in her today, "He's 21, and the kiss thing, it's sort of the culture he grew up in, so it's sort of like, okay, y'know?" she walked around aimlessly, okay, this is kinda boring, I decided to break the silence,

"So, what did you want?" she walked up to me and held my hands and put on a cute face, "You know how I'm an orphan?" I rolled my eyes jokingly,

"What is it?"

She stood there awkwardly, "Wanna live with me, I mean, just as friends?" She put on a big grin.

"Fine," Well that was easy. Wait. Shit, what have I done?
