Cha Mi-jo was staring up at a beautiful blue sky. Even without cloud cover, it wasn't warm and she enjoyed the prickly grass on her back. Giggling, she turned to her side expecting to see the handsome man she just had a long hot night with.

But she was alone.

"Dae-sik?"

She turned to her other side. "Hoon?"

But both of them were nowhere in sight.

"Dae-sik? Hoon?"

Cha Mi-jo sat up in bed, confused. She wasn't outdoors, she was in her room, but she was still alone. She stood to rush out, taking the shirt Dae-sik discarded the night before and a clean underwear before heading to the main room.

"Dae-sik?! Hoon?"

She didn't get a reply.

But she did hear a hearty male laugh from the kitchen.

Cha Mi-jo found her boys by the stove, Hoon standing on his step stool, chatting away about a turtle he found in school and helping Dae-sik make breakfast.

"Careful, it's hot," Dae-sik reminded Hoon when he was a little too close to the pot

"Careful, it's hot," Dae-sik reminded Hoon when he was a little too close to the pot. Adjusting Hoon's stool, Dae-sik ruffled Hoon's hair. "You sure Eomma likes scrambled eggs?"

"Yes," Hoon said. "She says it's easier than trying to keep the yellow thing round. She always breaks that."

"Yah!" Cha Mi-jo couldn't help but make her presence known.

"Good morning, Eomma! I was just telling Appa how you can't cook the sunny eggs," Hoon shared.

"I heard," Mi-jo said. "Do you want Appa not to like me because I can't cook eggs sunny side up?"

Hoon smiled, "He doesn't care, Eomma. He says he loves you anyway."

Mi-jo was surprised at this and turned to Dae-sik, who smiled and continued cooking. To Hoon, she said, "Don't make up stories, little man."

"I'm not!" Hoon insisted. "Appa said that even we he heard you fart."

Dae-sik snorted but did not turn around to look at Mi-jo.

"Hoon!"

"What?!" Hoon asked his mother.

Turning off the stove, Dae-sik arranged the dish before he faced Mi-jo, who was blushing in embarrassment. "Good morning, Love." He walked closer to her, before telling Hoon, "Son, cover your eyes."

"Are you going to kiss Eomma?" Hoon asked.

"Yes," Dae-sik said. Then, leaning close to Mi-jo he whispered, "Try not to moan."

It was a huge effort and his kiss left Mi-jo panting.

"Can we have breakfast now? My tummy is saying it needs food," Hoon asked after a few seconds, making Mi-jo and Dae-sik laugh.
