Maggie's POV

For the last time, I stared at the picture that Rye gave me yesterday. A picture of two persons who were secretly talking at the rooftop, it's already prohibited but they still have the guts to talk in there? Why?

Are they keeping something that only the two of them should know?

I heaved a sigh before putting the picture in my bag. I thanked the driver and went out of the car right after it came into a halt near the school gate.

Gaya ng nakagawian ay dumidiretso na agad ako sa ExeCom Office tuwing umaga pagkapasok sa Clark High. Some students are greeting me in the hallway and I just responded with a nod.

When I arrived at the office, I turned the knob and went inside. I found the QED club members—except Loki—who's seriously talking to each other. Bakas din sa mga mukha nila ang pag-aalala.

What's happening?

"Why are you three so serious?" I asked, making them turn their heads to me.

"Maggie!" Lorelei called, medyo nagulat pa ako dahil sa pagkakatawag niya. Lumapit siya sa akin, "Alam mo ba kung pumasok na si Luthor at kung nasaan na siya ngayon?"

I looked at the clock display on my phone screen. "He always comes to school at exactly 6:45. He's never been late, not even once." I responded.

Before I could even ask why, she ask again, "Saan siya unang pumupunta pagkarating niya? Does he go straight to the student council's office?"

Nagtataka na ako sa sunod-sunod na tanong ni Lorelei but I still chose to answer her first, "Nah, he always checks his locker first in the locker area. Why? May kailangan ba kayo sa kanya?"

"Medyo mahabang kuwento." sagot niya, mas lalo akong nagtaka at mas na-curious kung bakit. May kinalaman kaya ito sa naiisip ko?

"But I will tell you as soon as we stop a ticking timebomb." she added then turned to Alistair and Jamie, "Let's go?"

They both nodded to her then hurriedly went outside, that's why I followed them. Tumatakbo na sila kaya tumakbo na rin ako.

"Wait a minute!" I called, "If that matter is so important, you should explain it to me as the execom chair!" I demanded.

Lorelei throw a quick glance at me, "We don't have time to explain, Maggie!" mas binilisan nila ang takbo nila kaya nakihabol ako hanggang makarating kami sa locker area.

"Maghiwa-hiwalay tayo para madali nating mahanap si Luthor" utos ni Lorelei, kahit naguguluhan ay sumunod na lang ako.

We checked every rows of the locker. After I check the last row, I heard the scream of some students. Nakita ko kung saan tumakbo si Alistair at Jamie kaya sumunod ako.

I gasped and held my chest when I saw the reason why they want to find Luthor immediately. Nakasalampak sa sahig si Luthor habang nakahawak si Loki sa kwelyo nito.

"LOKI! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" I yelled, but it's not enough to make him stop, even Lorelei is already begging at him.

I gasped again when Loki punched his brother, I was stunned at my place.
